saw it today, was very surprised at how good it was
i haven't been following the movie since the first pics of the suit came out

didn't even recognize gary oldman at first, it's amazing how different he looks movie to movie, the cast was great, the story was good aswell, i liked all the little references to the original 7/10

Pretty excited to see this soon. I remember renting RoboCop around 1st grade, maybe younger, because it had a cool looking superhero-esque character on the box, and my mom took the VHS straight back to the store once Murphy gets blasted, haha.

but he did add the director and approach to the material
attracted him too.

Yea it was a very good film, the cast did a great job , Kinnamen, Oldman, Keaton and Harley put in solid performances. The score was great aswell. Action scenes were abit average for my taste but good nevertheless. The main thing that stood out for me was this film emotional content though . Jose nailed this aspect for me. To put into terms , Robotics and there stand against or along side Humans.

Ive always been into robots as a whole since a very early age but this film covered some sensitive areas on technology and robots all round (abit like T1 &2) Certain scenes were quite eye opening , there were some great moments between the actors and direction that made me abit of a fan of jose style in this film.

The suit looked great (silver & black) and he damn sure moved like a cyborg. Shame he

Robo database POV scenes were technical as hell .A scene used this perfectly. The CGI was A grade throughout the film. ED-209 they got that design on point couldn't have wished for more. The down side was SLJ and some of the action scenes which were abit generic but overall what a great adaption/remake of Robocop 8/10

I love Oldman's answer to why he took the role. What a great guy, honest and easily one of the best actors out there. I'm sure he'll make this movie enjoyable to a certain degree (along with Michael Keaton, who's also gonna be popping up in Need For Speed which I cannot wait to see, I expect it'll be a lot of fun, at least a lot more fun than this remake I'd imagine).

Glad to see some positive reactions on the board. I wish there was a bit more alteration to the voice as well but the more I watch the new clip the less I notice it. I do like the updated buzzing and whirring sounds as he moves.

So can anyone confirm this: Does he keep the tazer pistol and forearm machine gun or does he eventually get the Auto-9 that's shown in the poster?

keaton needs to be in more movies again. i've been rewatching clips of his batman movies, and i had forgotten how good he was in that role.

liking what the robotic sounds the kinnaman robocop makes when he moves now too. and i think his voice sounds fine. seems like there is a slight alteration to it.

It's not. Anyone who claims it is is being dramatic. It's not a bad movie, and by bad I mean the likes of RIPD, After Earth, etc
