I have to agree, The subway train fight in SM3 was VERY hyped and like you said was going to be better than SM2's train fight. Isn't even close to it. I think it would've taken the place of SM2's if only it was longerVery disappointed when watching it in theaters :/
Is that really the movie's fault, though? Maybe you shouldn't have gotten yourself hyped up over a specific fight scene that you haven't seen yet.
I didn't come across any of this "hype" for the subway fight personally (it was probably studio-generated buzz, right? interviews?) All I knew about it were the few shots shown in the trailers, and I was perfectly satisfied with it, having no preconceptions about it.
Word of advice to everyone - maybe you'd enjoy these movies better if you didn't follow every step of their production.
