It's a silly rule, regardless, and it's not one Nolan keeps to. Memento was about the murder of a little girl. He has the sense to let the story exist on its own rights without keeping to some vague rules about gender.

i'm not gonna believe most anything until i see the movie. it seems like every other movie site on the internet is posting some spoiler about TDK. there is just so much stuff out there, you dont know what is true and what isn't.

it's just recycled material. honestly, the most solid info generally originates at this site. look how quickly other sites run with SHH photoshop manips or pick up speculation found on these forums (of course, by then they're turned into "rumors").

this place is definitely the main place to get a scoop.

That was Insomnia. Memento was about the murder of Leonard Shelby's wife.

Jeez I just went over to "Latino" and thought I was the first to get the big scoops! ha ha I hurry over here only to find out everbody knew bout this stuff yesterday! Lots of goodies.....

but it hardly portrays him as the insider he purports to be, doesn't it?

"there will be NO, NADA, NIET TDK presence at SDCC"

Yeah, he really assed himself up on that one.

He's got these "insiders" that constantly **** with him, but it's all he's got...and he won't let them go.

Another one:
"It's really looking like Bettany will be Mr. J"...and what, 2 weeks later they confirm Ledger instead?

Memento was about the alleged murder of a woman...and I say alleged because those that have seen the movie, will know that it wasn't really murder, but accidental.

Whereas those who haven't, have now had a major plot point ruined.:oldrazz:

unfortunately, those who visited the movie's website AFTER having seen the movie learned that it wasn't accidental. that really pissed me off.

are we talking about the new LR info?

Already been posted in another topic, by another site.

I hope it is BS... Batman begins and then imposter batman begins! Yet one more person has a lead on the Wayne/Batman connection. Bloddy 'ell!

we'll we've known for months that there is going to be a Batman wannabe. he was titled as "Vigilante" in the sides, i believe. and there is likely more than one - although that may be information revealed during the dialogue.

man . . . for the first time since I've been on these boards, I kind of wish that I hadn't read that spoiler :(

BUT IT SOUNDS FUACKIN AWESOME!!!!

Yeah, the way it was portrayed on the casting sides, it clearly seemed inspired by The Sons Of Batman from DKR.

About the Latino Review spoilers,
I like the idea that it may actually be Harvey who wants revenge for presumably Rachel´s death, and it´s Batman of all people who try to convince him otherwise, it shows he´s sticking by Rachel´s lesson, but Harvey´s descent into Two-Face in the end of the movie puts another spin on it

So can we guess that the character of Rachel Dawes's is a stand in for Gilda Dent?

slashfilm posted the "news" before LR did. jett jr says, "Some of it is true. Some of it is kinda mis-leading.

I will say this: The "twist" I heard of is that someone dies. And I know who. See what I mean about it's so big that no one wants to let the lips be the one that released. They said someone dies, and they do. But they don't wanna say, and I'm still not saying."

again, much ado drama over nothing. "someone dies and i know who." that info alone does not imply that the "twist" is "so big". take your pick on who you want to believe (if any), but Miranda has said that no major characters die. i think to date her info, while not complete, has been more solid than anyone else's. and these other scooper sites have been relying on her heavily.

I haven't read the spoilers. Are they really THAT bad? Like don't-read-or-it'll-ruin-the-whole-movie bad?

allow me to give this to you = :whatever:

Well, now I saw that LR is giving it the "grain of salt" treatment, so I´ll put all that aside for now (so, where are the "BOF sucks, LR is the reliable place for TDK scoop" people now?)
