the way Shocker fights Spiderman is lot cooler than Lizars fighting Spiderman

Shooting shock blasts is cool for a few seonds. It's the same thing every time. That's why Spider-Man always rapes him. Lizard has no style. He always does something new. And is a lot more dexterious than spider-man.

Which is why I wouldn't mind a quick Shocker cameo in SM3, sort of like his first appearance in the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book.

Maybe show Shocker robbing a bank to draw Spidey out of hiding and Spidey kicks his butt in about 2 minutes of fight time. Then, while Spidey is contemplating the high-tech vibrating armbands on the unconscious Shocker, cut to a scene in an Oscorp lab where Harry is looking at a display of the same armbands before he deletes the files and looks troubled/angry/insane.

I just borrowed a book from my college library called "Freaks!" in which it tells you how to draw fantasy creatures, and theres a dinosaur type creature in there, so I was going to draw it and implement a lab coat and post it here for a movie-ized version of what the Lizard could look like.

You'll hate it of course, but it could be fun.

After they recently screwed up the character of Doc ock in the last film and the green goblin before him,I wont be at all surprised if they go and have The Lizard become a bad guy because he gets manipuated by his tail.I would not be at all surprised if they did that in Man-Spider 3.with sony and Raimi,anything is possible.

I have an idea for SM3.

If we HAVE To have Lizard and GG2 (no other way about it!) then I'd like it to go like this.

GG2 is stalking MJ and Peter (we don't see who at first) and they keep getting little hints that he or someone know he is Spider-Man and wants to kill him there. But that is just the thing Harry seems to be normal and "forgives" Peter because he needs time to work things out.

We learn through Harry he talks to his father in the mirror a lot and that he is torturing Peter for revenge. But he doesn't think he has the sand to take out Peter. HIs father calls him weak and Harry throws a cover over the mirror saying that the idea is over.

Meanwhile Peter who works for Dr. Conners finds the good doctor who is usually open an d friendly shutting the door in his face one day. The doctor than reveals to the camera (wihtout Peter seeing it on the other side) that his arm is regrown and green. Peter has his spider sense go off thinking of Conners here.

Pete and MJ are trying to work through their relationship but Mary Jane seems distant even though they moved in every time he goes out swinging. Peter then proposes to her and she accepts and things are joice as she celebrates with him and Aunt May. But before she accepted she seemed worried and called Harry late one night and was crying (Peter was gone) saying she wanted to see him for dinner. Harry got all cleaned up and sobered up only to find out she had then gotten engaged to Peter (and knew he was Spider-Man for she talked to him on the phone about it knowing he knew) and he angrily runs back to the mirror and Norman smiles as he walks to the perforamnce enhancer.

At that said earlier dinner at May's on television the GG has returned and is terrorizing Midtown. Or maybe the financial district and destroying Oscorp actually. Harry has lost it and is destroying his past life in flames. Peter runs out and says he needs "pictures" and since this is the first supervillain since the truth MJ is worried for him and knows she is partly responsible for Harry's digression as well as Peter. The responsibility is too much and at the same time she must fend for a shaky May worried about her nephew.

Spidey and GG have a huge flying battle (the one that was intended) and Spidey wants to know what has driven Harry to this point. Harry explains that he is betrayed by he and MJ and that both plotted against him. But he is easily defeated by Spidey in the end and loses one of his two goblin gliders. Actually make that three. He hides away somewhere when Spidey searches his house.

Peter and MJ try and go on with their lives knowing Harry is out there somewhere to torment them. And now Harry is the villain. But life goes on and they are uneasy with Harry's disappearence. But MJ is now a soap star. She has some big party that Peter promises to be at. But he is still wondering where Dr. Conners who has also disappeared wne to.

To wrap it up the Lizard attacks ECU while Spidey is doing something to track down Harry that night nad their battle leaves Pete with a broken arm. At the same time he misses MJ's party where Harry leaves in her dressing room a Spider-Man doll on her bed that blows up and a sign with confete comes up that syas YOU'RE DEAD.

Peter is woeful for himself. And when MJ who is snapping comes home sees Peter with a broken arm she freaks. They get in a spat and basically clal off the engagement. She explains why she is upset but Peter is selfish and says he knew this wouldn't work out and throws MJ out. Peter feels bad but thinks it is his duty.

Peter follows the lead of the labcoat to the Conners hosue and there Martha explains her horrors of how he became (see my previous post) and then when Peter is leaving his spider sense goes off and he sees the street open. He coems back and sees a remoresful Lizard on his knees begging for forgivness. His family embraces him and then he cuts Billy's cheek for blood. Peter is freaked out and goes into battle but half mamed already he is thrown out into the rain and is about to die when Billy begs his father not to.

The Lizard runs away. Spidey comes home and is resting and lseeps all day (can't go in public either day since public knows Spidey is already in a cast). When he wakes up he has a Goblin mask overlooking him from the celling grinning with a sign that you're dead. He finds a tape and it shows MJ struggling in rope and Harry kissing her and says "You know where to meet me."

Cut to Queensboro Bridge and they do battle for MJ and Spidey defeats a weak Harry who actually saves a falling MJ when Spidey can't reach her. He lands her and says "I can't do this." Cops then tackle him and shackle him.

Peter and MJ (in Spidey outfit) embrace. She wants to make things up but they get in a fight (or she gets angry) when Peter says it ain't worth it. He flies off to a screaming MJ. He says he has one last thing to do. He left her with a tracer that he never used on Harry (that he made) she puts it on him before he swang off immeadietly. She phones him but he says he has one last thing to do.

In the police Van Harry begins talking to himself but really to his father. Harry tries to fight him but is too weak and goes crazy again laughing. Though they searched his body he is shackled in his suit he presses a button on his leg and a small (a mini) pumpkin bomb comes out and he smiles at it.

MJ stays with Aunt May who lectures her on love and how one fight is not enough to ruin his life or her life. Their love is something special and we get a good speech.

Spidey uses his science to track down the Lizard following the power source (he stole machinary and now blood remember). He then joins the fight against him to find a civilized (but more savage looking and ripped Lizard) Lizard building a super device to cure himself. Well think ASM #362 and the same mayhem insues. He then is burried under rubble. There Lizard thinks he is dead and it is for the best.

In his mind for the last time he is in the car with Uncle Ben who when Peter says maybe it is for the better to let Curt die and for he to die and for Harry to die...just like Otto and Norman. But for the sake of MJ and Aunt May and little Billy and for HIMSELF Uncle Ben convinces Peter to take his hand this time ending it with "great Power comes great RESPONSIBILITY!" Peter then lifts himself from under the rubble with a bad arm (and I mean under like literally burried and ripping his mask to shreds in the procces).

Once free Peter travels up and finds Lizard about to kill himself unintentionally seeing Spidey again. Harry glides in and sees Spidey and Lizard wrestle and Lizard is about to kill Spidey and Harry thinks back of his friends and friendship with him and MJ and realizes he is wrong and puts down his pumpkin bomb to aide Peter. Lizard attacks him and Harry on a glider (don't ask how like how did Harry know where Otto was?) gets in the way and tries to save Peter. Lizard kills or mortally wounds a poor Harry. Dying in Harry's arms Harry asks for forgivness from his "brother" and how he was wrong. Peter realizes Lizard is about to die and throws himself into the fray and with his radiation blood saves Lizard's life and renders him back to a one-arm human. Both fall unconscience. As he fades he sees someone coming down the sewer hall with a flash light.

MJ used the tracer to follow him all this time in the cuts. She finds them and is in shock. Peter wakes up in Conners' house. Here Curt knows nothing of killing Harry (thankfully) and lectures Peter on love. MJ then comes in and they both apologize to each other and exclaim only thier love for each other can save them. They kiss and she puts her ring back on that Peter has kept this whole time lookiing at. She then says there is other business.

We see Peter's smile fade and he lays Harry down on the same bed dead that he lay Norman dead on. There the circle finishes. WE cut to the same shot of the funeral of Harry. There Peter is at Harry's newly mounted grave next to Noramn saying how it worries him taht he knows too many people in this yard. Then Curt comes up and says "She is ready."

They then walk to a hill where a wedding ceremony is and Curt Conners walks MJ to the alter to Peter who is waiting with Robbie as his best man. JJJ and the rest are there watching them.

We don't have a final swinging here.

The End to a 2 and a 1/2 epic!

To wrap it up the Lizard attacks ECU while Spidey is doing something to track down Harry that night and their battle leaves Pete with a broken arm.

The broken/sprained arm is a nice homage to ASM #44-45.

What story? In the 1990s cartoon series there was a race of lizard creatures and The Lizard was there king, but I don't think that that has been mentioned for any film story...?
