I missed that. What do they think about her? Am i right on wrong in saying she is nothing but a cypher?

Let's be honest, is Stewart the biggest star of the Twilight movies? The fanbase is a bunch of ravenous fangirls who are probably green with envy. It's Pattinson and Lautner that draw all the girls in i'd imagine. Bella Swan is nothing but a replaceable cypher.

I know an 18 year old, next time I see her I'll ask that very question although she has great taste in movies so I'm not even sure she likes the series.

It would be interesting to know. I've never seen the films, but all the hype i've heard of them has been the whole "Team Edward/Team Jacob" crap. Haven't heard much about Bella herself, so it wouldn't surprise me if the fangirls just view her as someone they imagine themselves as.

I think that's why Stewart has been downplayed for this movie like they want her in it but they don't really want audiences to think the movie is lame because she is in it.

Again, if you saw how the Twilight fanatics reacted to Kristen Stewart before and during the release of the first Twilight, you would not give two ****s about the franchise or how you appear in them because no matter what, she was getting death threats.

And it got worse for her when Jacob(Taylor Lautner) started getting shirtless in the movies.


As for how I feel about her in Twilight, she's nothing special, however, she's not this wooden actress, it's how the character is written. And sad to say, after reading the books and seeing the movie, the movie version of Bella is the better written one, but it's still a lamely written emo character. I'm not trying to defend Stewart, but if she were to try something different than she's done for the movies, it honestly wouldn't work without totally rewriting the character(which I'd be for, but even the screenwriter couldn't or wouldn't do.)

All the negatives said about Stewart in the role would still be said with a different actress because the Twilight fangirls are literal fanatics, sending threats to Stewart because they live in their dreamworld where they think they should be Bella. It's why in one of her controversial interviews she compared her fame to rape.

Oh wow, that's crazy. Not surprising though. I kinda feel bad for her. And i don't hate her as an actress, thought she was pretty great in Adventureland.

I've see stories of people being attacked for dissing Twilight. Man, those girls make the fanatical Batman fans seem completely sane lol.

The thing is, the Twilight movies are such a juggernaut it will be a hard thing to escape and overlook. It's polarizing despite their popularity.

I'm sure Pattinson likes his money and all, but he probably hates how he can't really go outside anymore. Even after he did Harry Potter no one probably knew who he was.

Hasn't Pattinson bad mouth the franchise and the fans before too? Can't really say i blame them. I mean sure it can maybe be perceived as ungrateful, but there really is no excuse for that level of fanaticism when it comes to fiction. It's absurd.

That new trailer is spectacular. Kristen does the accent quite well and I find it a lot easier to remove her from Twilight with it. The armies, forests, and dwarves are fantastic. Snow White of the Rings lol. Can't wait!

so i am sure there is plenty we still are not seeing

I guess what I'm wondering is have they re-written the movie to focus more on the Huntsman and his romance with Snow White and downplay the Prince?

It sounds like in the initial versions, it was more of a father/daughter relationship and Snow White gets together with the prince and the Huntsman was going to be more of an older actor.

Bob Hoskins looks fantastic. They all do. The effects to make them look small is believable in every single way.

One day, I hope they approach The Hulk this way. Just like they did with Hagrid in Harry Potter, making the actor appear like a giant. I hate how cartoony all the Hulks have looked so far. I don't understand why they just don't do a Hagrid for that character.

That 5 minute vid looked amazing. Queen Ravenna looks really threatening, the part where she screamed actually made me slightly jump. I hope this movie's good because my expectations are high after watching that footage.
