Great four-minute "trailer", although I'm surprised at the amount of footages they shown which is a bit excessive I think. And where are the two key elements from the Snow White fable, the poisoned apple and the Prince? I won't mind if they leave them out, though; they added an extra dwarf so I don't think they're too concerned about being faithful to the Brother Grimm's tale.

The apple is shown in the new trailer Raiden. Not sure if it will work the same though in this movie.

Because it looks like Kristen Stewart is leading her allies into battle against the queen at the end.

i really think Snow White and The Huntsman is gonna be a huge hit

every trailer so far has been freaking awesome and it can appeal to young girls and boys as well as adults

what little kid especially young girls dont love fairy tales

but also the story looks much more adult and mature and gritty that it appeals to that LOTR fantasy/action/adventure crowd

visually it looks amazing and the action looks good

and charlize as the villain looks great

a great cast all around

2 time Oscar nominee and Winner Charlize Theron
And the ever popular Kristen Stewart

let me guess. before the third act starts the studio wanted a dwarf to die. but then they would not have enough dwarfs for the sequel. so they decided to have one extra dwarf to kill him in the end?

Not surprising, she's playing a role that the extreme fans wish they were in fictionally and realistically. It seems everyone of those cast members can't wait for this to be all behind them.

Hasn't Pattinson bad mouth the franchise and the fans before too? Can't really say i blame them. I mean sure it can maybe be perceived as ungrateful, but there really is no excuse for that level of fanaticism when it comes to fiction. It's absurd.

Stewart gets hate from the girls, because they want to be her while Pattinson gets hate from the guys just cause. Listening to the slashfilmcast they brought up how Pattinson in an interview says he can be walking down the street and out of nowhere he hears "F**k You!"

I notice the "Charlize is more beautiful" stuff was brought up again a page back. In the trailer you see Snow White's mom tap her on the chest and mention the beauty inside, which I think we all gathered from the start was where the "Fairest of them all" aspect was heading.

I don't know; I thought that might have actually been the Queen, since it looks like she can shapeshift and disappear and such.

I read the Mirror Man solidifies and fights so I just figured the form made up of glass attacking The Huntsman and co was him. I think the shot of Ravenna screaming and the shards of glass flying past her is her summoning him to attack.

as much footage as we got i noticed the prince was'nt in the 5 minute preview or the new trailer

so i am sure there is plenty we still are not seeing

They also didn't show the White Wolf and didn't really show a lot of the big battle or a single shot of Snow and Ravenna face to face.

Saw the new trailer today. Not bad!

I find comparisons with Mirror, Mirror interesting, because that movie looks absolutely horrible, whereas Snow White and the Huntsman almost seems like the kind of movie you would have expected from Tarsem Singh.

Good casting, looks gritty and action-packed...I was surprised by how many fantastic visual images I saw in the trailer that don't seem to have an equal in the fairy tale. Theron looks sexy and evil (maybe overacting a tad), Stewart looks like a good "everygirl" (which I think is why they originally cast her in Twilight).

One thing that does make me wonder is Hemsworth: great to see him in another movie, but I wonder how he could look at this script and not worry about being typecast. He looks pretty much the same as he did when playing Thor, and also carrying a big object that he uses as a weapon (axe instead of a hammer). He needs to start picking some more diverse roles after this.

I've been waiting for that Red Dawn remake for a while. Hopefully he'll have some success outside of playing Thor. Of course, that's the only real reason I'm a fan of the guy, but at the same time I think he's very charismatic and could bring a lot to a diverse set of roles.

They say Hemsworth also brings the emotion to the role so if thats the case then thats fine with me. I have a huge man crush on Hemsworth and I can't wait to see him in this plus he looks like a bad ass with those axes.

It works for me, especially for this particular version. Charlize is one of the most beautiful actresses on the planet. I think almost any young actress would have paled in comparison but I still think Kristen is beautiful and sexy, in her own way.

The casting works me.

This movie looks extremely promising and well made. Should be fun.

I agree. Charlize has a dangerous sultry look about her, and she does evil very very well, and looks good doing it.

Kristen is beautiful in her own way - she definitely exudes the resourceful down-and-dirty warrior girl that the part requires of her. It's the desperation of youth that she has that Charlize doesn't.

So I'm sitting here reading these "Kristen isn't as pretty as Charlize" comments and going .
