i honestly don't know what all the fuss is about. Spider-Man is BY FAR my favorite super hero, and, although i think the suit is a little disappointing, i could care less about it as long as the story is told properly and the movie is done well. he could wear the Amazing Bag Man costume for all i care. Spider-Man has worn so many different suits by so many different artists, who are we to say that Webb (or whoever the costume designer is for the film) isn't being faithful to the character? it's just another artist creating their rendition of the suit. i'm sure it will look fine on film.

Ah, well. First time I saw a pic of it I was angry as hell. Found it terrible. Then in the movie it worked for me all the way.

I did, I even tricked myself into thinking I enjoyed it, upon subsequent viewings I grew more and more frustrated with it finally ending in the place of hate I now feel towards it.

Back on track, um, Spider-man, Spider-man, does whatever a spider can, except eat flies.

I love all the hate for the new suit and then somebody makes an amazing manip giving us all an indication of what this thing is gonna look like when its framed and composed for a film audience and suddenly everyone is like, "thats freakin awesome if it looks like on film Im in." Of course its gonna look this rad on film u guys its a hundred million dollar film production.

just because it looks good doesn't mean it is a necessary change. there are many things i didn't like about the original trilogy, but the suit was IMO is hands down the best interpretation of a comic book costume.

I don't understand why they couldn't make it a full belt. Just irks me visually how it doesn't connect around the waist.

The suit looks unfinished, with the red belt not going all the way around, it's the first thing I noticed when I saw the official picture of Garfield in the Spidey suit. The red stripe going down the arms and legs is tacky as well. I wish they could have just stuck with the original design. Why did they have to go and change things, it's annoying, like they just wanted to be different and did something for the sake of standing apart from the Raimi trilogy. I hope this is just his first costume that gets wrecked and then he makes a new one that has the red belt and no red stripes. It's a good looking suit but those things ruin it for me. The spider symbol with the legs running all the way down the front and back is not so great either. I can live with it, it just bugs me of what could have been.

don't lump "everyone" into that category. I still hate the suit. Its a well done manip, but I still hate the suit.
