The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume Part 4 - "What's that in his eye??" - Part 5

To be honest, I don't care as long as it's just Spider-Man in a nutshell.

Agreed. Besides, I like the changes to the costume. I think it looks like something a teenager in 2012 would design.

 I actually like the fact that I can see the seams and little flaws up close. I know some really smart and resourceful honor's students and even they can't sew a perfect red-and-blue set of tights.

But they can do it better than me

The costume is good, it's not like the same exact classic design and it doesn't need to be, it still looks like a spider-man costume as it has the important aspects of the classic design, and it looks cool

After all that it's just a costume, it's not like the whole movie revolves around the costume, it's a very small part when you think about, so stop complaining about it like the costume is everything.

Soon the sequel wont be Spectacular, Sensational, or Astonishing Spider-man, it will be The Fabulous Spider-man

No, it's just you're :bdh:

Me and everyone else dude.

When we're talking about comic book superheroes they're always greatly defined by their visuals. If the costume look bad then big part of the identity is ruined. It's far from being "just" a costume.

Nothing. It's just that I think it's time people stopped *****ing like little girls about the reboot suit. Don't like it? Fair enough, but saying the same things over and over again isn't going to change the suit.

Some people like it, some don't.

It'd be understandable if it was universally hated...

But it's not.

We done here yet?

Oh, what we say won't change movies.

Let's just shut these forums down.

Or allow me the freedom to post, as it is the basic right here, and accept other people's opinions.

LOL, I totally knew you'd say that. :hehe:

Continue your complaining. Like I've said a few times before, everyone's allowed their opinion. No matter how many times you repeat the same **** over and over again rather than having a meaningful debate about the suit. :)

Besides, I think the story's more important than the suit. Yes, we could have got a suit that's more faithful to the comics, but we didn't. I'm glad we didn't get one that was essentially the same though, I want to see different interpretations. Not just one suit with bigger/smaller eyes and a new symbol.

my personal opinion of the costume is it 'is' important but for me it's not a deal breaker, by that I mean if I see a costume I don't like but enjoy the movie then the costume doesn't bother me as much (BB/TDK) but I see a costume I don't like and don't enjoy the movie then the costume becomes worse in my eyes (superman returns).

I'm on the fence about the spidey outfit as I think it looks pretty amazing in some shots and terrible in others and I don't think I'll ever get used to the piss coloured eyes.

Not true, I think The Dark Knight's suit is f---ing ugly (and nothing like the comics), yet, it's the best comic book film ever made. And will beat any comic book film as a whole in a poll if tested, guaranteed.

Armor looks awesome in Batman Begins

I think both batman costumes look like absolute rubbish but it doesn't spoil my fun of the movies at all. I hate the rubbery look of begins and HATE the segmented look of TDK.

to be fair iron man won the vote of the best comic book ever on CBM (TDK in 2nd place/SM2 in 3rd place).

I'd rank TDK over Iron Man, but yeah Iron Man is definitely better than Raimi's Spidey films imo

CBM is ran and occupied by robotics monkeys, I meant polls with humans. Iron Man beating The Dark Knight with hammy ass performances by Downey and especially Paltrow, please. You were better off saying X-Men 2, which is better than both SM2/IM.

I don't agree, for me it's;
1. TDK
2. SM2
3. IM

SM2 has more emotional moments (than IM) like where peter tells aunt may he is responsible for bens death and (imho) the action is far better.
