Yeah.

Yeah.![]()
^Agreed. It's just the back spider I wish was a little bigger/thicker.
And perhaps a bit shorter so that the chunk of the red shoulder area could be restored.
What's the difference between the striped legs and the classic striped arms? I admit the addition was jarring, but if anything it made the entire suit more uniform with its design implementations. The racing stripes on the pants and the shoes make Spider-Man look like some jogger *******, not a superhero.

My problem with the striped legs is that, in tandem with the shoes, makes Spider-Man look like he's jogging, not kicking ass and cracking wise.
I'm not entirely sure how that has to do with his personality and behavior. I assume you're making the comparisons to Adidas sweatpants. While the similarities are there, we have to judge the suit on its own merits. Because looking at the design as a whole, it absolutely does look like a superhero more than anything. My problem with the striped legs is that, in tandem with the shoes, makes Spider-Man look like he's jogging, not kicking ass and cracking wise.

Again, if we can accept the completely random arm stripes, it shouldn't be very hard to consider the same implementation on his legs would serve the very same purpose (if any).
The stripes on the arm continue the web pattern from the torso onto the gloves. The stripes on the legs of this costume are just vertical lines on the legs.

Well, the stripes continue the blank, webless streak from his belt to the tip of his boots.
I wish people would stop talking about the shoes. It's getting annoying. It's a tiny silver strip which chances are, you're not even going to notice! He's not going to be going for a brisk walk.
He's going to be zipping around the screen. Bouncing from rooftops, swinging at high speeds... you won't even know they're there.![]()

The only real design confusion lies in the "unfinished" torso/belt area. I can completely sympathize with those that hate how incomplete it looks by being so bare.
They said that they made those design choices (thin arm segment, lines on the bottom of his torso, thin leg stripes) because they make Spider-Man look slimmer. That's it. And it does make him look slimmer.
It makes the suit look half-assed.
In your opinion.
