The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume Part 4 - "What's that in his eye??" - Part 6

But we're talking about what we would do to make our own suit. I bet if you add an actual webbing pattern, it would look amazing. There's nothing that would tell us otherwise.

All I know is, it already looks amazing. So I would keep it as well.

Why would you do that? Granted, I'm not complaining about how the webbing looks on Webb's, but if we had the chance to change that, why would you KEEP it?

Lol, because I think it looks good on this suit and I wouldn't mind seeing it in a suit that's more in line with the classic design. :D

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with that. Sure, I like Webb's suit, but if I can create my own suit for a new reboot, it'll definitely have a much better webbing pattern, but obviously still stitched in and black.

I have to agree with you Anno. While I like the web pattern on the new suit, it disappears very easily when far away and the webbing looks very faded at times and almost not there, even when you have a close up view.

Like Anno said, it should have a much better (preferably not grid type and actual webs) web pattern that is still obviously stitch in to the suit or not pasted on like the raised raimi webbing as well as being black.

I like the webbing but it could be much improved.

Apologies if I'm late to the discussion on this, but has anyone else noticed from the trailers that his back lights up when he fires a web shot?

Am I seeing things, or has this already been talked about?

You mean the spider on his back? it's just really reflective, it has nothing to do with the webshooters.

The webshooters however do glow when he fires a web.

Thanks for the reply, dude.....but I could swear that when he's shooting his webs at the car jacker, yes his wrists light up, but so does his back....in time with the shots.

I didn't notice it before, but in the new European Trailer it's more noticeable.

At least you confirmed I saw something :yay:

There's a shot later on in the trailer showing him taking off his shirt, revealing his costume (from the back) and the logo is reflecting light so it looks really bright.

I gotta say, this looks like it glows at the same time he makes the shot. I mean, it's got nothing to reflect....as the rest of his back is black. There is no light on his back from anywhere.

But I just played it over and over again, and I think you're right. It's probably reflecting off the street lamp behind him.

The web pattern still stinks but he looked awesome for the most part of the trailer. Specially the colors and texture.

Oh, and I loved the eyes being black. I don't know if they'll look like that all the movie but they did look great black.

I'm certain the eyes will be ever changing due to the reflective nature of the lenses they've use. I approve.

My main complaint is the the torso red doesnt connect to a belt. the way it is now just looks like an arrow pointing to his crotch

Partially agree about the belt, although it does make sense if Webb wanted his suit to look like a one-piece. That can be understandable if there isn't an actual looking "belt" aside from Raimi's which his suit was actually two-pieces.

the way it is now just looks like an arrow pointing to his crotch

Aside from Raimi's suit with the arrow pointing at the crotch?

To be fair, Spider-Man's always looked like that.

It looked great in that aspect. Much better than the Raimi suit.

i prefer his colors more...and kinda like the shoes better

The only real problem I have with the Raimi suit was the goddamn muscle padding. They went way overboard with it. Tobey's build was fine. There was no reason to uses as much padding as the did.

Many times, the muscle padding just made Tobey look fat.

Tobey's build was getting fat by the day, not the muscle padding.
