To be fair, those people probably aren’t smart enough to read a book, let alone understand context.

I'd say it's more likely going to be the "red pill", "anti SJW" people who will complain.
Especially if Richie being gay and in love with Eddie,
    turns out to be true.

I don't think there will be complaints about Adrian especially considering
    Reddie content
so if anything that storyline will end up being the most
    powerful

In any case even if there will be, we shouldn't care :)

Either way I can't wait until It Chapter 2 comes out and I can imagine it selling out in minutes much like the first one did

I wonder if that funhouse mirror scene is the new one Stephen King created specifically for the film?

James McAvoy and Andy Muschietti came up with the funhouse scene.

Pennywise stunted his childhood thus also his growth.

“Controversy” about what? Depicting a hate crime? It’s not like we’re meant to sympathize with the homophobes or Pennywise.

And I'm not convinced there even will be that. I think there's often a paranoia when it comes to certain people where they convince themselves that there will be some uproar, only for there to be none to be found. Because they want there to be a controversy.

Well, given how some people on Twitter reacted badly to the Joker script and were upset about it because Joker acted, gasp, like the Joker (as in irredeemably evil, you know, in character), I don't think it's as implausible as you think it is.

Either way, it's not something worth paying attention to.
