Stephen King's "IT" Part I and Part II

That's a given, but I still bet some folks are gonna misinterpret that scene as anti-homosexuality rather than the hate crime scene it's supposed to be.

To be fair, those people probably aren’t smart enough to read a book, let alone understand context.

I'd say it's more likely going to be the "red pill", "anti SJW" people who will complain.
Especially if Richie being gay and in love with Eddie,
turns out to be true.

I don't think there will be complaints about Adrian especially considering
Reddie content
so if anything that storyline will end up being the most
powerful

In any case even if there will be, we shouldn't care :)

damn cannot add the new spot because of swearing in description maybe i can find it on youtube

edit - got it!

Richie 100% said "f***ing" in that sentence but it was edited for TV lol.

I hope they include the scene of Adult Henry breaking out of prison and trying to kill Mike only for Mike's fellow Losers to save him at the last minute...they had that in the 1990 version of IT

There you go :)Schermata 2019-08-25 alle 20.30.18.png

Either way I can't wait until It Chapter 2 comes out and I can imagine it selling out in minutes much like the first one did

I wonder if that funhouse mirror scene is the new one Stephen King created specifically for the film?

Adrian Mellon controversy is only gonna heat up

“Controversy” about what? Depicting a hate crime? It’s not like we’re meant to sympathize with the homophobes or Pennywise.

And I'm not convinced there even will be that. I think there's often a paranoia when it comes to certain people where they convince themselves that there will be some uproar, only for there to be none to be found. Because they want there to be a controversy.

Well, given how some people on Twitter reacted badly to the Joker script and were upset about it because Joker acted, gasp, like the Joker (as in irredeemably evil, you know, in character), I don't think it's as implausible as you think it is.

Either way, it's not something worth paying attention to.

You're underestimating Hader and his surly nerd fanbase.
