Sci-Fi Stranger Things (Netflix) - Part 1

As long as it's not forced, I'm fine with it.

Just finished season 1. A perfect show I'd say. The character development is absolutely incredible, the story is very compelling, balanced and well-executed. I like the way 3 story merge towards the finale, it feels so natural and compelling. The acting is absolutely spot on. David Harbour and the El's actress are MVP. The actress who played Joyce is also very good

Such a shame Jonathan and Nancy couldn't be together. I think their relationship is better-built than Nancy-Steve. I actually thought at the end Nancy would be with Jonathan while Steve stayed as her best friend or something. Turned out it was the other way around.

Finished season 1 in only 2 nights. Gonna start season 2 this afternoon, probably gonna finished it tomorrow

Still seems like ages away.

Just finished season 2. Hate that prick Mike. He's maybe kind and helpful, smart but he's so bossy and iritating and aggresive. Just wish some demodogs had eaten the feck out of him.

In SS1 I root for Nancy x Jonathan but she ended up with Steve. This season completely changed my mind. Now I absolutely love Steve, he's definitely my favorite character along with Hopper. Now I'm rooting for Steve x Nancy but honestly he deserves better than that *****.

At first I thought the kids would be the main protagonists of the show. Turns out, they're not. I'm even quite surprised that I find the kids' arc not as good as Hopper's and Love Triangle's arcs.

Gotta say it again: the character development in this show might be the best I've ever seen. Steve Harrington... wow, just fantastic.

Steve should get a new love interest. Perhaps Maya Hawke's character could end up getting together with Steve.

I think she probably will. I think I read that they did her screentest with Steve. So at the very least she'll be spending time with him

I really hope Steve is a cop or cop in training in S3. Hopper needs back up on the force

Hopper looking a bit Miami Vice like in the latest season 3 set pictures.

I must of missed the news of Cary Elwes being cast as Hawkins Mayor.
Elwes plays Mayor Kline, a politician who is more concerned with his own image than with the people of the small town of Hawkins

Jake Busey plays a reporter called Bruce
A journalist for "The Hawkins Post" with questionable morals and a sick sense of humor

:funny: You'll basically be doubling Hopper's workload, because now he's going to have to keep saving Steve from getting his ass whupped by everyone and everything coming at them. Just shoot Lucas full of HGH, give him a katana and an Uzi and make him the new deputy.

Gotta love how grown adults bully a freaking 14-year old girl for acting bubbly and extroverted. God, I hate Twitter. :whatever:

Eh... I am curious how he seemingly survived with no food or water but I don't need a whole comic of it

Currently rewatching season 2 and I got depressed all over again when they killed Samwise Gamgee off, that episode is brutal. :csad:

I recently watched the whole season in one weekend and that was so shocking. Especially that he was such a kind character

The show does tend to kill off lovable characters with small appearances that start with the letter B.

Benny, Barb and Bob. All good folks killed by Upside down creatures.

Things probably aren't going to go well for Jake Busey's reporter Bruce

Yes this is actually a Stranger Things Season 3 teaser
