They really ****ing did it. Son of a mother ****ing *****

Well tonight's episode was pretty nice episode. I loved getting to see into the mind of bobby and his past memories and worst fears. I liked bobby's reaper that dude seem pretty cool. I am glad the guy who played rufus got to play a big role as bobby's consenius/jimmy cricket type role. In the real world i liked the drama we had with sam and dean about the possiblity of losses bobby and how hard it is for them to believe. The scene with dean and levithan dick was well written and i liked how dean played the scene. Another thing i liked was getting to see bobby's house again.

I am glad that set wasnt gone totally/or rebuilt for this episode. Only issue i had i thought it was said bobby had a wife and daughters that were killed which hurt him alot. But this episode they were going off like it never happened. Unless it was because of the bullet messing with his memories he didnt recall events the right way. It was very sad scene to see bobby die in the real world, i was pissed during that scene. But I like he wasnt dead yet totally. In the end i was happy that bobby didnt die. I would have been really pissed if they did. Bobby's last memory was also a pretty touching one he really did become the boys father. Man what a way to end we still not knowing if he is dead or not. Way to go for mid season finale. Preview for second half of the season starting jan 6th looks to be good.

I will be watching Fringe live from now on. I am tired of Supernatural killing characters just to create drama. Next up I am sure the boys will split up again after Dean lies to Sam again eventually

why else would a writer kill of a fictional character? being the dramatic is only purpose for death in a story.

Oh god fan girls/boys are already threatening the writers. This will have a bigger backlash than Castiel's death.

Killing Bobby is also not the best thing to do during the Peoples Choice Awards voting. I will vote against Supernatural in spite :o

umm are we sure bobby is gone 100% we didnt see him go with the reaper at the end and he could come back. Also like i asked in my post above didnt bobby have a wife and kids that were possessed and he had to kill?

I would bet that they conventionally left them out to save money on casting

well he kept on saying he didnt have any kids to rufus, so i was asking more if that was a mistake sara made or more from the bullet in his brain screwing with his memories.

Bobby having kids was never a part of his back story. It was always just his wife who he killed after she got possessed.

I think Bobby was originally going to be a one and done character for season one, so he's had a hell of a run, especially on a show that loves to kill off most side characters. It sucks on one hand because Jim Beaver is great, but on the other it's ultimately good for the story as it raises the stakes.

I took the sound effect of the pocket watch closing at the end as a sign.

Plus, he was in his last memory and Sam and Dean faded, so if he's alive he's brain dead.

These people really need to stop getting their panties into a twist over every Goddamn thing and let the writers write. Seriously.

The purpose of Cas dying and Bobby's house burning down was to cut the boys off from the resources they used to have at their fingertips. If Bobby is in fact dead, that is just an extention of that premise. The boys would be truly on their own.

nope he wouldn't be alive and brain dead. he was dying no matter what, the reaper kept telling him that. if he doesn't go with the reaper he will become a ghost.

not 100% sure if he decided to pass over. guess we will find out in january. would anyone be pissed off if they pulled a hail mary and he survives?

Sad episode but I guess eventually he had to die. It would be impossible to go through that line of work and survive into an old age. After everything they've been through, I'm surprised Bobby has survived this long. Part of me wishes he would have been taken out in a more high stakes fashion but I guess a bullet to the head will do just the same.

Die?
It was a cliff hanger in a show where people do nothing but come back from the dead. Even if he did die that wouldn't mean all that much, but he didn't give the reaper an answer.

Beyond them being on a first name basis with about 10 different characters that can heal to some capacity, they also have means into the afterlife and so on and so fourth...

The writers have a lotta balls this season. Good. But it just doesn't sit well with me that Sam and Dean aka Psycho Butch and Sundance Whatever are going through the trouble of stealing cars to remain under the grid but are waltzing in hospitals full of people. Not one person recognized their faces as two of the most wanted men in the US despite the fact that they've been "murdered"? And seriously that wound on Sam's hand should have healed by now. I refuse to believe it still hurts.

And I don't understand why it seems like the Leviathans are the only creatures capable of doing what they're doing on Earth, especially after they've spent an eternity in Purgatory, but the minute they've been released they've already climbed to the top of the food chain. You mean to tell me vampires couldn't have thought of that with the centuries they've been on the planet? Or shapeshifters? Or ghouls? I'm just gonna go with the notion that other monsters just don't have the same goals as the Leviathans do but still.

All complaints aside, glad they had the balls to do that to Bobby. I was honestly pissed off when I saw him open his eyes and write those numbers down. Is that even possible with a bullet lodged in his brain? But when that flatline hit....aw man it was like IMTOD all over again (not that that's a bad thing). I liked it. And that cliffhanger is ****ing cruel.

But my biggest complaint is the Leviathan boss's name. "Dick". I cringed everytime his name was mentioned. Especially when Dean confronted him at the car. He REALLY couldn't say "Roman"? Not even once?

It's a name. Nothing wrong with him calling him Dick unless you've got your head in the gutter. Yes, Dean was calling him a Dick by using it but who cares really. Good episode.

Well they need to make him stay dead like Ash, Ellen, and Jo if they want to have any impact this season. Otherwise, what would have been the point of the episode especially it being the midseason finale?
