These posters are absolutely terrible.

I just don't get with all the bashing towards these posters, people just buys into Harry's opinion. I mean look at them, they might be coloured posters unlike the x1 and x2 monochromatic posters, yet this posters look much darker then the previous. They gave a more dramatic sense to the movie, it showed off a more human side to each of the characters instead of a comic book personality. Personally I'm in awe at how beatiful these posters look.GOD!!!!

I thought up some ideas for two posters.

Juggernaut's could have him breaking through a brick wall like he's running towards you.

While Kitty's could show her in the X-Mansion, with a solid half of her in one room, with a phased half sticking out into a hallway.

Wouldn't THAT be something?!?!

Thanks BB. I asked this earlier in the thread but no one seemed to know. I'm glad FOX are putting something out at one of the Cons. It's important that they do that.

It's not pink, but it sure looks pink. And that's what makes it look ridiculous.

The poster designs are original but a tad pretentious. I think they've actually made a mistake. They're not marketing the posters at the audience they are willing to attract. The fact is, a lot of the audience is made up of young males. Some are not as thoughtful as the members of this forum and they'll have knee-jerk reactions like "what the **** is that?!". Sad, but true. You have to market the film and promote what the film is about. The posters should emphasise action, power and excitment. Posters like this emphasise X-Men: The musical.

Again, I am not saying I don't like them. They are quite original. I just think with advertising, you have to get across the ideas and themes of the movie in one big hit. These posters won't excite a core section of the audience. It is a mistake IMHO.

sorry for that, I must admit I get a little (yes, a little) agitated when people say it's Pink when it's clearly not.
regardless of what your opinion I still respect them as long as you voice them in a more respected manner rather than the musical comment (unless one more time you call the Beast outfit pink leather again)

If the average person were to walk by them in a theatre, they would probably have the same opinion, or they would be totally confused. ("What are we supposed to take a stand against? Breast cancer?")

I think there are far too many deluded fanboys around here who blindly refuse to see the basic flaws with this whole production. (Not directed at you, but other comments I've read)

it doesnt look pink to me it looks like black leather with red light reflecting on it, but i do think the Beast pic looks a little odd and i think i know why...it's the pants...or his body proportions...it looks like the pants start below his chest or that they go over her stomach...something about the leg-torso proportion is off i think.

First of all I was reffering to the Beast Pink Leather comment.
I agree that the poster of Beast does not justify him enough.
But see I don't get that comment about the Pink Leather. The only reason people say that's because they've read Harry's critique, because I for one knew when I saw the pink in Beast's forehead and his Pink-ish hair, I knew it was the lighting.

And please do not generalise the public. Do you really think that the general public would say look a furry blue guy, OH! BREAST CANCER!

The general public won't even say oh look!!!! this poster looks like that Rent poster I wonder if this a sequel. Come on.........

This posters were released in wondercon, I doubt they would be stupid enough to release this posters to the general public without any hint about X3
