It's all subjective. What you might call terrible lighting and poor composition is your personal opinion. They obviously wanted a certain look, and went for something stylised with different use of light and shadow. It has nothing to do with 'poor planning and rushing' and whether they 'had taken the time to properly light and colorize it', here you are projecting your own perceptions on the situation. You feel it is all rushed, so you are seeing everything as rushed even when it may not have been. Unless you know for sure they did rush these posters, then don't say it.
My view is that I like some of the posters, some i am not so keen on, but it is personal taste. They have gone for a certain style of photography, lighting, design and font to achieve an effect they wanted to achieve. They didn't use that font because they had four seconds to do it, they chose it because they chose it.
How tainted are you going to get? Next it will be 'Storm's leaning on that wall because it's rushed', 'Phoenix is wearing that coat because it's rushed'.
Isn't it time you took off the 'it's rushed' spectacles and stopped filtering everything through your toxic sediment of prejudice?
