Basically this, I don't need I to be shown or answered. I'm one of those kinds of people tha can use my imagination. Some people can't seem to do tha they want everything explained or answered. Or look at it as a plot hole.
It doesn't have to be heavily explained, it just has to work in the context of the story, and it doesn't make sense.
Bane said that if anybody comes in or out of Gotham, that he would nuke the city. Bruce Wayne is alone AND broke with no Alfred, all while being dragged to a part of the world which is farrrr from Gotham. How exactly does this make sense that he was able to get back to Gotham so easily? Everything that was set up before, tells us that it would be impossible otherwise.

As much as I loved the sewer fight, I did want to see the tables turn and Batman beat the crap out of Bane.....but in the second fight, it still looked like Bane was on top. Batman just appeared to get fortunate in breaking Bane's mask. Why do so many think that Batman bested Bane the second time around?

it doesn't have to make sense... jeez, like i said before it does not matter... make up your own thing... he parachuted into the city from a freaking plane that happen to be flying by.. maybe he walked his happy butt across the ice.. WHO FREAKIN CARES oh my gosh you guys are looking for reasons not to like the movie..go watch some realistic movie if you are going to be that meticulous about every little part.
how do you come to a comic book movie and have no imagination. maybe nolan did that on purpose or maybe it'll be a deleted scene.. i feel like if the scene of him getting back to gotham was in the movie you guys would say the movie dragged on..

How do you know it was easy? They didn't show it. It could have been very hard. He didn't do it in a day.

P.S.---I neither claimed it to be true or made fun of the people doing so when the argument was happening, but where did all of the people that made fun of the "She's Talia" people go? They talked down to the people claiming Tate was Talia as if they were diapered lunatics for even considering it. Haven't seen any crow eaten on that.

i agree...everyone says that batman obviously gets the upper hand in the second fight... to me it just seems as if they were more even because batman is more fit..

PS no offense travesty that wasnt an attack on you... i just needed a quote to put in there...

during Batman's first fight with Bane he was still a broken man...body and spirit...while he is in the pit he is exercising daily to climb out...

You know...

It doesn't really matter how Bruce got back into Gotham...except that the movie makes a big deal out of how no one can get out or in without drastic repurcussions.

So it would have been nice to see.

He's the godddamned Batman

unless you don't think a ninja trained vigilante can sneak past the US Military

"You're broken Bane...Blackgate prison can hold the pieces".

Wow...that was difficult.

[blackout]How so the beast get killed by the Cat not The Bat.[/blackout] How else would you have done it Batman remained true to his moral principles ?
Maybe having Batman not exactly kill him, but at the same time, not have to save him. Which could've been another throwback to BB and Ra's.

I figured that's exactly what he was doing when he began to severely cause damaged to Bane mask and he basically said [blackout]"Once I have the detonator, THEN you have my permission to die."The tables only turned when Talia stabbed Bruce in his side and wrapped a rope around his neck while resorting Bane's mask back in place. Catwoman finished the job by doing the thing she knew Batman wouldn't which was to kill the beast cold-blood out with the cannons on the bat-pod [/blackout]

Is this the thread where people complain about the least little thing and stuff ? Just so I know where to post. Seems like an amazing thread, this one.

I might be wrong but was the line from the trailer 2 by Alfred where he says I swore to them that I would protect you and I haven't not in the final cut?

They really should've let Bane die and THEN have Miranda stab Batman and tell him she's actually Talia.

Wouldn't want that again. He didn't kill Ras but also didn't save him. He left scarecrow and joker to be caught by the police. Two face he didn't intend on killing him, he was trying to save Gordon's son. Harvey's neck broke from the fall. And
bane he wouldn't be able to kill so I don't see the problem with Selina doing it. Like she said the comment about she doesn't agree with him on the whole guns thing. Made sense and worked fine for me. Batman doesn't kill people. Done.

Question about the first fight

Was this specific shot wasn't in the film? I don't remember it.

Anyone else notice it? Maybe it was too short or I was busy looking at Bane? IDK.

IMO it worked out well, [blackout]especially when you saw the tear role down Bane's face as Talia told the story (for a brief moment you saw humanity within the beast before he reverted back to Bane) Also you learn that Bane's objective ultimately was to prove to Ra's that he could fulfilling the objective of destroying Gotham as well as being Talia's love.[/blackout]

Yeah it was but it was really fast and part of a longer scene

One of the funniest parts for me was seeing my buddy in the movie. He was the Repo Man taking away Bruce's Car. I spit my coke out when I saw him.

One bit that I wished was touched on more regarding the prison was :
The history of it. WHO Exactly are thrown in there. And why ? Are they all ancient warriors ? What crimes have they committed ? How long had they all been in there for ?

It was a bit odd that Bruce would throw the ropes down for them all to escape when some of them could have been as terrible as Bane !
