I liked everything. FINALLY got to see Avengers yesterday (I know, shoot me, this is what happened when dudes get girlfriends ) As for the fight scenes, I think it's simply a case of what happenes when you try to animate what goes on on a comic book page. Not always "visually stunning", but it gets the job done. Two costumed maniacs are fighting it out, what more do we need to know?

Avengers was awesome. TDKR will be just as awesome.

Well I've got nothing against The Morningstar personally, but he just came off a stint of probation. I don't know what for.

Sometimes I find his remarks a bit acidic, but nothing to get upset about.

I apologise. But again, i think the trailer is GREAT. I just hope that the fight choreography is vastly improved.

What Morningstar said about enjoying winding up Nolanites is trollish but thats only a byproduct of how people react to his comments. Which are not. He offers valid points and sticks by them. They may seem a little forward sometimes but that's completely fine if he's backing it up.

The fight choreography for Rises isn't getting the benefit of the doubt. That is understandable. TDK's fight choreography was shoddy as hell. So, it remains to be seen if Rises will provide improvements. However, from what the trailer has offered, I honestly believe we're going in the right direction. Bane's counter-offense techniques are evidence of that.

The Spinning Superman Punch or Limb-Destruction Punch looks goofy in slow motion, of course. Alot of fight scenes in slow-mo will appear ridiculous. To me though, the maneuver was 'flashy', and that's what this movie needed. In real-time speed, the technique looks badass.

Thank you. I might be too forward and boisterous, but that's only when people get my back up. The first few posts were very calm, then people start attacking me, and i admit, i do enjoy a bit of verbal jousting. But it's all in good fun.

And you'll never, ever, ever see me come into a thread, any thread, and say "This sucks" without explaining why i think it sucks. The day i do that, i'll have no problem with people calling me a troll.

But yes, the trailer...

I really, really, really loved the line "You've given them everything" "Not everything... not yet". That was awesome.

I thought it looked bad anyway. Seeing it slowed down in a gif just highlighted it even more.

And no, I would have midnighted this thing, is what I mean by the gf comment. The rest, can be left to stereotypical "I don't wanna go to a superhero movie" type of qualms...

Me too. Bane will still be a brute and wrecking ball but being able to move that fast only adds to Bane's prowess. I'm loving that Nolan and Hardy made Bane athletic, explosive and agile too.

He truly is an animal.

Nolan has said from the beginning he didn't want Batman to have a flashy fighting-style, but be more brawling, to fit the with tone of the world he is creating. I don't think he is suddenly gonna change that and start making Batman fight with kicks, spinning, jumping and being acrobatic.

So yeah people can hope the choreography looks more realistic and is shot more effectively but things like the overly use of elbows will always be there, that's how this Batman fights. And I think it would feel out of place for him to totally change his style in the third and last movie of the series.
