Have i suddenly entered a thread with some people born in 2009? every Bat film has always had batman toys with alternate costumes, non of them ever meant anything to the film. Figures we see an alt bat-costume and people start speculating how it could be JGL's character.

Same here. I've seen all of the nutty alternate Batman figures that they release with every movie, but this one looked different. And seemed to echo what was said before.

No... no it does not look different. If you look closely at the picture, the only differences between it and Bale's TDK/R Batsuit are the color, the lack of a cape, and a full head-mask. It is nothing more than one of the alternate toys that sell all the time.

I am honestly sick and tired of reading about how JGL is gonna be the new Batman, or whatever crap like that. I don't understand what some people don't get about "the legend ENDS"? It sounds really self-explanatory to me. Not too mention how much we heard about how Nolan wrote it in such a way that it simply could not be continued... how much more does a person need to know that only Bruce Wayne is Batman in Nolan's movies, and when those credits role, Nolan's Batman will be over... period?

I think I may honestly have to blog about this. It's starting to grate on my nerves that much...

It's not just that I get tired of reading how Christian Bale is going to get shoved out of his movie and replaced by JGL who takes over for him and the movie ends with JGL like he's the king of the universe...it's that the purveyors of these ideas somehow think it's great idea if it were to happen.

Any links to where Bosef hinted at this? I simply refuse to believe that anyone other than Bale's Bruce Wayne will be Batman, here.

This is just another part of the problem, of course. When are people going to realize that this trilogy is about Bruce Wayne? That should be the biggest tip off that there's only one Batman in this trilogy, and that Batman is frickin' Bruce Wayne. The spotlight has been on Bruce Wayne since Batman Begins. That's all it's ever been about. So in a way, it is accurate to say that these are not Batman movies... they are Bruce Wayne movies.

And I agree with your implication, that it would not be a good idea. In fact, I'd honestly be angry at Nolan if he makes JGL the "new Batman". I will be ticked off, in fact. It would be downright stupid, going against everything set up in Begins.
