yep same one.

i was thinking it's also possible that bane destroys his batcave and so he has to go to his second safehouse.

Also possible. Bane doesn't know about the bunker I don't think.

I'm still hoping that Batman hasn't been inactive for eight years. Four years... five... that's fine but it would really suck of the Nolanverse Batman was only Batman for barely a year.

Assuming that the events of The Dark Knight took place six months after Batman Begins.

I think it'll be half and half. Transition from bunker to cave.

more likely cave to bunker considering the film takes place like 8 years after tdk. the cave should be done by then and would be his primary hq at the start of the film.

Between six and nine. I think the Gotham Tonight episodes said nine.

The April 20th issue of Entertainment Weekly stated that "Batman, who took the fall for Harvey's crimes so Gotham could remain inspired by the lawman's former idealism, continues to be reviled and MIA as the story begins," and that old allies like Alfred and Lucius Fox and potential love-interest Miranda Tate "try to revive Bruce's spirits," while "two new threats to Gotham force Batman to end his exile."

January 20th issue of EW: "While grappling with the repercussions of the conspiracy he hatched with Gotham's police commissioner Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman), Bruce Wayne will have to repair his troubled relationships with faithful butler Alfred (Michael Caine) and weapons master/vehicle designer Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman)."

LOL what up bud. I creep around here and there ;)

f'n creeper. :BA

trying to find that same pre-TDK Hype magic lol. along with trying to find the quickest route to Hathaways pants... which ....

Totally random and stupid thought of the evening:

Lucius Fox - Nick Fury
Batman - Iron Man
Catwoman - Black Widow
Alfred - Jarvis

Ah, okay.

Hopefully Batman stays active for a period of time after The Dark Knight but becomes broken down and weary in the process and just... disappears over night. One would think that fighting the criminal element in Gotham and dodging the police would be a taxing endeavour.

Unless he's not been Batman in those 8 years and left all of his stuff in the bunker.

I cant whistle with my tongue hanging out

I think if, post TDK, he stayed Batman... it was only for a couple months until the impact of Dent really kicks in. then he hangs up the cape.

You would think he would of had to be Batman for a little while after the film. How else would they hunt him?

I think the bunker is used later on the film, judging from their attire. Good place to stay hidden since bane is not aware of it. The batcave at that point is probably already in bane's custody. Will see.

He doesnt have to actively be Batman for them to hunt Batman.

I'm with you on saying he was Batman for a little while after TDK, though.

I'd say at most he stayed active for a year or 2... when Dent's influence has changed everything, he quit.

finally get to post.

First, WB, you are not failing anymore, we are cool now.

this week has been great and it's not friday yet, I'm not sure about seeing more TV spots...they are awesome!

good to see the boards back again with stuff to talk about, hope the boards get fixed for the lag.

btw, thanks kane for the download links!

I am starting to wonder about Dent's true influence. It seems to have helped the better bits of Gotham, but considering Selina's words I wonder how much it helped the less fortunate.

I think the Narrows and other such parts of Gotham have missed Batman more then he realizes.

it is curious... we dont really see the less fortunate in TDK..

I am curious how isolated Bruce has become since TDK. Has he reverted back to pre-vision quest Bruce.

I thought the adds were good to , especially the Catwoman one. I think its good that the WB marketing is showing people that the film wont be all doom and gloom, and that it does have fun and light hearted moments. It certainly makes the film appear more fun and welcoming, and less "this is the end ...get ready for the funeral" type of vibe the last trailer had.

Not sure what you mean... If you mean Bruce reverting back to around the time he confronted Falcone in BB... then yea, I can see him in a mindset similar to that. Lost.

What's compelling to me is why he chooses to be Bats again. Sure, at first it is to fight Bane and blah blah blah.. but he gets his ass kicked, he wasn't entirely 'devoted' (as Ra's says...again, its corny to say now but the whole full circle thing is legit) What happens to make him truly come back?

If he is so isolated and shut down these days...being in prison shouldn't be much of a bother to him... something has to truly 'light the fire' inside Bruce and cause him to 'rise'. 'The fire rises', IMO, has nothing to do with Bane, it is all about Bruce.
