"Remember where you parked it?"

Sounds to me as if the Bat has been around for a little bit. Probably within the 8 years and Batman stashed it away in the city.

The police chase results in him going in an alley with the Batpod and coming out with it. It would be interesting if he's hiding different things throughout the city over the eight years just in case...

This.

That would be very Batman. Clever and proactive. Off the top of my head, like Arkham City where he had the REC gun stashed away inside the prison.

Hiding a huge hovercraft like object in random places? IDK, while I believe the Bat most definitely comes from the ground.. it has to be inside the cave

Maybe he has a picture of Bane on the wall and using that as motivation to get back in shape and kick Bane a**

This movie will FAIL if they don't use the Rocky IV soundtrack during these scenes. :down

I was thinking more Arkham Asylum where he had a whole cave stashed in under Arkham

If Bane doesn't know about TDK bunker that angle could very well come into play. A safe haven inside the dragon's den without anybody knowing.

We kind of know for almost certain fact that the Bat is in that alley because he goes in on the Batpod and comes out.

Perhaps it has some kind of loiter form that makes it appear to be nothing. Or maybe it's a section of Gotham people don't go to.

But from Fox's question and what we know it really appears that he's foresaw some of this happening and has some things hidden around Gotham.

Gotham goes through "reconstruction" so I'm sure there are ample places to hide things

Nothing important but I just noticed this now after it was pointed out somewhere: he looks up in each push-up.

I wonder who and what role the "rise" guy will play. He's seen sitting behind Wayne here, so he could be of some importance in terms of Bruce's resurgence as Batman.

That's exactly what I thought. The bunker will be his alternate base.

Is that part of the batcave I just saw in the background where Alfred was?

If so then, I already love it.

Agreed.

So do think it's snowing in the movie, or all of Gotham's population smothering around in lovely body ashes? :yay:

Both really would be interesting.

But wasn't there scenes in the snow where there the streets were only barely covered?
if it were ashes everything would be powdered, and there would be a slight fog of ash in there air too.

I might be remembering wrong though.

Without spoiling too much for me, do you know what Fox means by that question? Bruce gives him a "Yeah, shut up" kind of look. I just thought Fox was making a jab at his aging.

Yes. As well as providing more direct access to the City, as Bane's men would patrol all entry and exit from the City.

That was pretty much it's use in TDK. The Batcase wasn't usable so Bruce had to find a fallout shelter. Definitely could see that happening again, possibly.

Maybe Fox is teasing him about his Lambo being stolen. Eh I don't know. :funny:

Have we decided on when those Fox/Bruce scenes are? Post-crazy Bruce/Pre-Bane defeat or post-Bane defeat/ and imprisonment?

I'm pretty sure he's asking Bruce if he remembers where he stashed the Bat.

I found it very much in line with his usual banter. "Perhaps you should read the instructions first" - "3 buttons is a little 90s", etc. Being casual about things that aren't typically 'normal' - like (I think it's the Bat anyway) asking if he's remembered where he's parked a huge flying vehicle as if it's just a regular thing.

Mt guess is that Wayne watches Gotham in trouble for a little while, then decides he's going to come back to Combat bane. He goes to Fox for help who may have some alterations to the suit for him to combat his aging and leg issue.

he Goes over finds the Bat and seems to be back to Normal, ready to kick ass, we're hopeful, our hero is back

then he gets wrecked.

A total deflation of hope. Couple that with his failures in the pit and the weight of the situation and hopelessness will start to come through, powerfully.

Dare I make a comparison between TDKR and my favorite book....?
