I haven't seen it yet either, and I am 95 percent certain I will keep it that way (never say never).

Again.

I was forced to see that Halle Berry "Feline Girl"... I'd call it a travesty, but I don't wanna insult Travesty... in the movie theater... on opening night...

If I had to do that, then you all who haven't seen it have a damn DUTY TO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :BA

Please?

Oh, you shouldn't worry, my screen name is pretty much an accurate reflection of myself. When my parents found out that I use this name for most things online, they were a bit jealous that they didn't think of it sooner.

You should watch it.

It makes it so that you will never complain about any other interpretation.

As evil as it is, your reasoning is quite right; at least Batman & Robin was entertaining and fun to watch with your friends to mock. Can't do it with Catwoman... :shock

My Mom, Dad, and brother were all really excited about it.

I, on the other hand, am not the world's biggest Halle Berry fan, and was not interested when I realized that a) she wasn't even named Selina Kyle and b) they stole her origin story straight from Batman Returns.

My Mom and Dad loved it and have it on DVD. My brother is still apologizing to me for not believing me when I said it would suck, and neither of us understand what it is about that horrid tragedy that Mom and Dad like, especially considering that they usually have really good taste in movies (it was Mom and Dad who introduced my brother and I to Blade Runner, after all).

Seriously...no Magneto emoticon...and no BS Flag?!?!?!
It's funny, but when you post in "advanced mode", to the right you see a little box that says "smilies". Then, you can see a link that says [More]. You click on that, and suddenly you can see all the smilies the Hype has.

You should try it sometime. :o

Son, just don't. :cap:

I think I found common ground for a Parallel Universe for Christopher Nolan's films: The Dark Knight Rises and... The Prestige. :awesome:

Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. The first part is called "The Pledge." The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course... it probably isn't. The second act is called "The Turn." The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn't clap yet. Because making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back. That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call "The Tangerine."

Someone actually made a Dark Knight-trilogy trailer based on that :woot:

:lmao:

Seriously though, this supposed Doomsday device or Earthquake Machine:

Judging by the looks of it and what power it can withstand, it would seem Dr. Pavel (speaking fictionally, but somewhat rationally) took advantage of Tesla's Oscillator (a.k.a. Earthquake Machine) and improved to Bane's liking.

Hence, The Prestige... :awesome:

Full Circle.

Yes, that is a very interesting thought. Tesla did calculate the resonant frequency of the earth and create an earthquake machine that supposedly roughed up his neighborhood pretty bad.

I'm just not entirely sure how the Rolling Boulder of Doom will actually function other than "making an earthquake" so it may be some lame movie BS that is outside of the realm of physics like this nonsense:

[YT]07WzNtL2hVs[/YT]

Which, by the way, is much better with that soundtrack.

Agreed. :woot:

I hate it when people start dissecting movies in such manner, claiming certain things are "outside of the realm of physics" or "nonsense". Suddenly everyone becomes a certified specialist in a different area, whether it is nuclear physics, bodybuilding or whatever, and starts explaining how things are or are not possible.

Especially when it comes to films like Star Wars. It's not that a scene [or the whole film] is outside the realm of physics that is ridiculous. What I find ridiculous is that people are actually trying to explain how it should or shouldn't work in terms of physics and all that BS.

It sounds to me like the same argument I've been hearing all my life by people who aren't really interested in movies, games, or any sort of entertainment and media - "Oh, it's unrealistic, I prefer to watch realistic stuff". Or "Oh, it's all fictional, which automatically makes it BS".

For Christ's sake, it's a ****ing movie! :D Who the **** cares if it's not a perfect example of the laws of physics or anything like that? There are plenty of documentaries out there, just pick one if you prefer to watch things that are grounded in the realm of realism, and don't bother watching Sci-fi movies and telling me how or what is possible or impossible.

wow its been a year since we got our first Bane pic, these 12 months have flown by.

I have noticed that if you watch this...

[YT]GDQob4AOCsQ&feature=fvwrel[/YT]

And this just right after...

You might find a warm salt soaked tear dripping down your cheek... like mine. :csad: :hrt:
