Again.
I was forced to see that Halle Berry "Feline Girl"... I'd call it a travesty, but I don't wanna insult Travesty... in the movie theater... on opening night...
If I had to do that, then you all who haven't seen it have a damn DUTY TO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please?
:bsflag:Never have & never will watch Halle's Catwoman
Watching the Berry bad 'Catwoman' movie would really test my Patience (Phillips).![]()

Oh, you shouldn't worry, my screen name is pretty much an accurate reflection of myself. When my parents found out that I use this name for most things online, they were a bit jealous that they didn't think of it sooner.I'd call it a travesty, but I don't wanna insult Travesty...
You should watch it.
It makes it so that you will never complain about any other interpretation.

It's funny, but when you post in "advanced mode", to the right you see a little box that says "smilies". Then, you can see a link that says [More]. You click on that, and suddenly you can see all the smilies the Hype has.Seriously...no Magneto emoticon...and no BS Flag?!?!?!

My Mom, Dad, and brother were all really excited about it.
I, on the other hand, am not the world's biggest Halle Berry fan, and was not interested when I realized that a) she wasn't even named Selina Kyle and b) they stole her origin story straight from Batman Returns.
My Mom and Dad loved it and have it on DVD. My brother is still apologizing to me for not believing me when I said it would suck, and neither of us understand what it is about that horrid tragedy that Mom and Dad like, especially considering that they usually have really good taste in movies (it was Mom and Dad who introduced my brother and I to Blade Runner, after all).

You should try it sometime.

I think I found common ground for a Parallel Universe for Christopher Nolan's films: The Dark Knight Rises and... The Prestige.![]()
Someone actually made a Dark Knight-trilogy trailer based on thatI'll do you one better:

Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. The first part is called "The Pledge." The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course... it probably isn't. The second act is called "The Turn." The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn't clap yet. Because making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back. That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call "The Tangerine."

Seriously though, this supposed Doomsday device or Earthquake Machine:
![]()
Judging by the looks of it and what power it can withstand, it would seem Dr. Pavel (speaking fictionally, but somewhat rationally) took advantage of Tesla's Oscillator (a.k.a. Earthquake Machine) and improved to Bane's liking.

Hence, The Prestige...
Full Circle.
That's AWESOME!
Yes, that is a very interesting thought. Tesla did calculate the resonant frequency of the earth and create an earthquake machine that supposedly roughed up his neighborhood pretty bad.
I'm just not entirely sure how the Rolling Boulder of Doom will actually function other than "making an earthquake" so it may be some lame movie BS that is outside of the realm of physics like this nonsense:
[YT]07WzNtL2hVs[/YT]
Which, by the way, is much better with that soundtrack.

Who the **** cares if it's not a perfect example of the laws of physics or anything like that? There are plenty of documentaries out there, just pick one if you prefer to watch things that are grounded in the realm of realism, and don't bother watching Sci-fi movies and telling me how or what is possible or impossible.
