I echo this sentiment. I want it to be here already...So close....yet so FAR![]()

No...I still don't think my mind and body is quite ready for it yet, need to prep it further with viewings of prometheus and spidey first.
I have noticed that if you watch this...

Spideymania? Where are you seeing that?right now it just feels like Avengers & Spideymania sadly. which on the bright side is a very good thing if they decide not to promote it...because marvel is sticking out like a sore thumb right now its all about marvel in the stores, news, theaters, tv, etc....which makes TDKR the underdog and most-likely-to-be-hit-of-the-summer![]()

"It's coming"
This Marvel-Mania is so thick in the air right now that it's almost getting difficult to breathe. It wont be long before people get tired of the overdose of it all and TDKR will be there with a breath of fresh air for fans and the GA alike.
Maybe WB is thinking "let them be fed Marvel until they're so full that they'll be begging for Batman by mid-July".
The Marvel movies are fun, but when they see TDKR they'll understand that this is something different, deep and fun.
Then "word of mouth" will do the rest.

That'll be great, but I'm assuming a few samples tomorrow.Track listings for the TDKR soundtrack?
I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's WB's thinking on this.
Seeing as The Avengers is now going 3 weeks strong at no. 1, I'm thinking maybe when it finally drops off that spot, maybe it's time to kick the marketing into "phase 2"***. That being, unveiling the final theatrical poster and first few TV spots with new footage.
The only question is, will MIB³ actually top The Avengers? I think that, despite nobody in the general fan-community being especially hyped about it, it's still family friendly fun, a well-established franchise and Will Smith. If it doesn't outgross Avengers next weekend, then it'll be the first official bomb of the summer. I think it will though.
I don't know, this summer is really crazy. We've got one of the biggest box office hits of all time on our hands, a film that features of team of superheroes...
...with Batman and Spider-Man movies still on the way (that will be promoted simultaneously).
***= Just friendly amateur speculation, nothing more.
