It's still got China to mine...
Welcome to the world of Sh-t Films, Inc. Where your movie can look like it's directed by a ****** and still make lots of money. It's mind-boggling that Spider-Man 3 made $554 million. Sometimes I understand the numbers when the movie is amazing, but other times I just wonder what the hell is happening when S-M 3 and the Transformers films made so much damn money.

Worldwide:
$677,740,000
Except that you made it sound like a big deal and that the Quality is a whole lot better since they are earning more which isnt the caseSo instead of making a fuss when I already mentioned that TDKR and Avengers are doing better critically and financially you could've just agreed since you are now.
TDKR - $733,038,000.
Now....who said TAS-M will end up doing better than TDKR? Lol. C'mon, show yourselves...you tried to stand out so well beforehand.
Of course it's predictable, but it's hilarious as no one is saying TAS-M will be beating TDKR now.
Don't try to justify a poster when their biased opinions make them only ignoramus.
Stick a fork in Sony for what was supposed to be a rebound year in 2012. Total Recall bombed with a 26 million dollar opening on a 125 million dollar budget. That is a flop. No ifs ands or buts. Any profit from Spidey must recoup Total Recall's losses for an even net. I have no sympathy for Sony trying to remake that classic.
So unless MIB III did monster numbers (I never really followed that films production/costs and box office), Sony's tentpoles have done nothing. ASM 2 needs to basically be TDK calibur if they want to make a serious play to get back in the game. Fox/Disney/WB have started separating from the pack.
Not Fox

I didnt say that but
TDKR's Total Budget(Including marketing) is almost 100M more than TASM's total budget
Plus TDKR being the 3rd movie of the Franchise,People would expect it to make huge income while People are more than satisfied with what TASM has made
You didnt get their point at all
'Beating' meant in terms of expectations with the earnings
Most people expected it to almost match TA
At the end it'll probably have 1.1B(Even SM3 has almost that much after adjusting for infaltion) which is 400M behind the TA
When does it open in China?Awesome!!
So atleast 685M when it leaves theatres
So 700M + is a given after China
When does it open in China?
Avatar?
Not according to most peopleTDKR is a WHOLE lot better than TAS-M, imo.
So I don't have the right to bring this up and only deserve to get replies trying to defend those posts?![]()
The bat fans are turning to Spidey for comparison because Avengers is too hot to handle
That's because it was a reboot that was "too soon," and came out in between two other films that were hyped up.Kinda figured Spidey would come third in this years comic book B.O battle...
1.) The Avengers
2.) The Dark Knight Rises
3.) The Amazing Spider-man
4.) Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
Spider-man is still the most disappointing... it just kind of came and went without making much of an impact critically or commerically.
Yeah it was successful in broad strokes. But nothing you'd want to shout about either.

The sequel has a better chance.
If the sequel is nothing short of incredible, I fear for this franchise.
It doesn't have to be incredible, but at least a very good movie. Like 85% positive on RT worthy. If the sequel is nothing short of incredible, I fear for this franchise.
