:P

I like plot holes, they allow me to speculate and use my noggin.

I believe that he did.

Just not in a normal sense. Oscorp did most of the work, making the bio-cable and all, I just believe that Peter has the webshooters add a small amount of chemical that will loosen the cable, make it stickier, and will make it dissolve.

Unlikely.

Actually, the design of the webshooters is designed in a way that the cartridges Peter puts in are pretty much two cylinders put together, and both cylinders lead to the webshooter as a whole and I assume they would come out at the same time. Either they both contain bio-cable, and when it goes through the webshooter they entwine to become the 'webbing' or one of the cylinders holds a chemical which makes the bio-cable into webbing when combined.

Either way, saying unlikely without giving any significant proof, pretty much makes me think that you're trying to antagonize me. Did I give you a reason to do so?

No no no, I am not trying to antagonise you in any way (sorry if I came off that way), it just displays to me the problems with this film that us fans need to fill in the gaps for things that really are an important part of the characters origin.

Oh.

I like those gaps, as I said. I love theories and speculation.

Lol, fair enough.

I mean, after watching TDKR, I like to think [BLACKOUT]Robin John Blake designed his own suit to be called Nightwing, but kept using the bat signal and helped out Commissioner Gordon until he retired while Nightwing finally caught Scarecrow, took out Victor Zsaz and met Joker :woot:[/BLACKOUT]

It kinda bothers me that he just ordered the web from Oscorp, I mean, is he just gonna always order it from Oscorp now on?

Plot holes bother me depending on how big they are. For example, in TDKR:

how does Bruce Wayne get back to Gotham after climbing out of Bane's prison?

Maybe now that he has the formula for the webbing, he might be able to make it himself?

How did Bruce leave Gotham after Carmine Falcone's men beat him up? Same situation. A Bruce Wayne that can't use any money by his means of transportation. It would've been nice to see this, but it wasn't needed.

Guys, just wondering... is Amazing Spider-Man still playing at your theaters after August 2nd? I noticed that all the theaters in my area will stop playing it starting Friday.

True, but if so, I want them to show him developing the webbing now on in the sequel. If it's glossed over, no matter how much speculation put into it, the intention is still that he gets it from Oscorp

The way Oscorp seems to be the center of everything in TASM, Amazon could be a department of Oscorp yeah :D

The Avengers is almost nothing more than a spectacle, but a damn good one for sure

But the others are
And I am not counting the Avengers since its a team movie

Amazing Spider-Man is almost nothing more than spectacle, it baffles me that people seem to think there's any difference between the two films in terms of aims and intentions. The difference between having one primary character and a supporting cast and an ensemble cast are marginal at best.

The Avengers is Transfomers with superheros.Plain and Simple
With the amount of effort Webb put in to develop the characters and the amount of emotion in the movie,I am surprised you call it a spectacle

The Amazing Spider-Man is definitely much more than spectacle.

Spider-Man does nothing with its characters that differentiates it from the Avengers, in terms of complexity they're pretty similar. The 'amount' of emotion is also fairly similar. Spider-Man just throws in an extra death scene. It is spectacle, but on a smaller scale.

Plot holes are not good things. They are bad. Leaving things purposefully open to speculation is great, like the ending to Inception, etc. Doing things like that on purpose is fine. But, leaving gaps in the plot due to carelessness for no reason is plain and simple bad storytelling.
