Spider-Man is basically in the same vein as Batman in their respective worlds. They deal with weird ****, but not weird galaxy bending **** like the rest of their friends do. When they get sucked into massive team up adventures, it's usually beyond their scope.

TAS-M had these cross-species figures that could also expand to where there's more...hell, if the symbiote can come from a planet and not being some cancer suit, then...yah, the universes can definitely be the same.

Exactly. One of Spider-Man's most famous and popular villains is black goo from outer space.

When I think of the more realistic superheroes, a guy swinging through Manhattan with homemade webs and fighting giant lizards, strange alien substances, guys with four giant mechanical arms, guys that can turn into sand, guys that can turn into electricity, etc. is not one of them.

Like I said before, both franchises feature people with super powers and even a man turning into a big green monster. The latter fact alone puts them on equally unrealistic footing. Yes, there are some visual and possibly tonal differences but that's a none issue (just compare Thor to any if the other MU flicks).

I'm not saying that I WANT a spidey cross over, but if done well, you will not see me complain in the slightest.

You don't even understand your own point. Saying the two are different when they aren't? You're bringing in "teh tone" of the TAS-M when it's nothing new than Avengers.

Lol....the city itself is the same as well, except with a darker color from what we've seen in the trailers. The two CAN fit with eachother and that would not be a problem. Hell, OsCorp tower could've even been in The Avengers. That right there shows the "city" isn't anything different and it could very well fit with the MCU.

Also, there's no legitimate evidence that the Oscorp tower was gonna be in Avengers. That's still a rumor, buddy.

No idea of the count but nothing has come out today. No one else has said anything else on Twitter except Poni_boy, today, who said that the people making up rumors about a certain superhero movie, don't listen to them, the movie is amazing.

Um...I don't really understand the question but one of the recent featurettes with the Lizard had two scenes with him speaking perfect English. Does that answer your question?

EDIT: Oh, wow, I misread that. I have no idea if he will start off speaking perfectly, but he will ne speaking perfectly for the sewer battle and the school battle which means he will be speaking perfectly for the final battle too. So...he most likely will be intelligent from the start.
