Considering his size and strength, The Lizard's claws should've dug deep into the cushion. There should've been big chunks of foam flying about not just a superficial spray of tiny bits.

Totally agree. Lizard looks brilliant in the movie clips, horribly lame in the artwork that's plastered over posters and merchandising.

It’d help immensely if they used intimidating/scary images of him instead of these bland, expressionless photos.

I think the Lizard does look great in the clips we have seen. For some reason they didn't really do a good job for the promotional artwork and posters. I remember the first time I saw the poster of Doc Ock for SM2, and it sent chills down my spine.

Like I said another time, I care more about what the fans say about it. It seemed like comic book fans were pleased with Captain America for example, but on a lot of professional critics disliked it.

I am curious about one thing now. Will the Lizard be called "The Lizard" in the movie, or will he just be referred to as Doctor Connors? Jameson named the villains in the first two movies, but in the third one none of the villains had any names. I understand if they didn't name Harry "New Goblin," but Sandman should have been called "Sandman." Venom should have easily said "We call ourselves Venom!"

I think Spider-Man may refer to Connors as "Lizard," or the Daily Bugle might say "Lizard man lurking around NYC" or something like that.
