I wasn't saying that to be an ass, haha. Just stating what worries me. That's cool if you get what I'm talking about though.

The beginning's not cheesy. When he slam dunks though...

sure, I get how in this stage, Peter is only just beginning to abuse his powers, but goofing around with Flash is one thing, going up and breaking the glass and yanking the hoop off isn't really funny.

So do you mean spider man isnt powerful enough to break the glass?
Peter obviously meant to make fun of Flash by beating his in basketball,he didnt realize he is powerful enough to break it

What I mean is: simply ignore him, or others who doesn't seen to like anything about this film. I do so nowadays. It's pretty clear that he probably won't like this film anyway. There's also no need to try to convince him anything. There are people who don't like stuff from this film so far, and there are others who do. Simple as that, it's just a matter of different taste. Then, one can argue why people would want to spend time here if they dislike everything about the film.

I really don't like the Star Wars movies. Other people can't change that. Though, I wouldn't spend any second on Star Wars discussion boards.

Eh, fair enough, not really about me though. I am not f***ed about whether someone likes it or not. Doesn't bother me either way. I'll admit to you all, right now, sat in my shorts and mildly toasted, I am a selfish bastard fan whose only enjoyment that matters is my own. I'm not gonna try and change minds. I've said it before and I mean it. Not. Arsed.

Lol!

Are you guys kidding me? I don't like certain clips and people are calling out that I hate this film? Good lord...fanboys these days. You MUST like everything otherwise fans will say you hate the film.

To be fair, I have pretty much only seen you post about things you dislike (and even seem to despise) so it's pretty easy to assume you won't enjoy this movie.

And I mean that there's no need to argue about your opinion that much because it's, as I said, simply a matter of taste.

Yeah, some of you people are insane right now.

Didn't even remotely say that.

Just didn't like him jumping up and pulling a slam dunk, and an extremely awkward-looking one at that. To me, it didn't fit and took the "fun" out of the entire scene. Seems terrible unnecessary just to show off what Peter can do much like throwing the football into the goal post and denting it.

And when you ASSUME....

That means nothing, once again. Green Lantern got positive responses from advanced screenings, and look how that turned out.

At this moment, we still have no clue if the movie is good or bad. Before condemning or crowning it, why don't we actually...WATCH it

You've been here a while, I think. Can't be bothered looking. If we do as you say, then what are we here for? If people stopped posting wild thoughts on sh** they don't know about, be it positive or negative, you'd lose half your traffic. No harm's being done. It's the nature of the place and shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone. :)

I just say, let Anno_Domini like or dislike whatever he wants, it's not as if it will affect the film for you anything anyway.

I love what I've seen from this film so far. That someone else doesn't think the same doesn't change that.

I applaud you Oscorp

And when you ASSUME....

What's strange about that?

Seriously, you pretty much only complain about the film so who's not to think that you simply won't like the film? I'm not saying that you won't for fact, I mean that it's very unlikely you will enjoy it. We all know that already.

EDIT: So there's no reason to try to convince you anything else. There's no reason to try to convince anyone anything because what matters is what oneself thinks about the film after having watched it.

That's true enough. But, I do still think it is early to take anything from the advanced screenings. I'm gonna see the movie regardless, of course, but fact I am on the fence based on what we've seen makes me inclined to wait before judging it. But, once again...this is just me. Other people have every right to be excited.

Where can I see the reviews at? I wanna check those bad boys out!

There aren't any reviews, just comments. There have been like 4-6 positive comments and like two negative (one of which was made by a hater so it really shouldn't matter since he was gonna hate this movie anyway). Then one of the Moderators here said a few friends of his didn't like it.

Lol, no....you don't already know that.

I'm not getting excited over tweets over the first screening as the same went for Green Lantern, nor will I believe the negative tweets from LR or Devin as I even talked about that as well.

And the clips? So what if I haven't enjoyed those clips? Would that REALLY stop me from liking the movie as a whole? I have reasons why I didn't like certain parts of Spider-Man 2 but that doesn't stop me from saying I love that movie and in my top ten of CBMs. People are assuming someone will hate the film just because they're not always happy, cheery, positive.

I dont understand why you (and others) are diminishing the raving tweets we've got. Needless to say that there are a lot more talks about Faraci's and Latino Review's trolling then about the very positive tweets.

It's like when movies receive critical unanimity and some guy comes in, picks the negative reviews to make a point.

I don't understand this.

Hey man, I did an eleven hour shift today and was looking forward to getting home. Came in and my girlfriend's dog had done the biggest sh** in the middle of the lounge. I was disappointed, couldn't blame it on Raimi.

People said Green Lantern was on par with a movie grossing 1.4 Billion? Dont think so

Anyway you are right, lets wait for RIM's review on the 14th

Someone could blame it on Raimi somehow.

A positive tweet is good, but we shouldn't just assume it's gonna be great because four people we don't know said it will be.

I'm not talking about those tweets. I don't take those seriously yet either.

But I think what we've seen so far reflects the tone and a taste of what the film will be, so if you unlike pretty much everything you've seen so far, it should be unlikely that you will like it.

Well maybe you should, cause he is the devil :o:oldrazz:

That movie didn't exist then, LOL! But you did see the "Bestest movie evah, LULZ!!!!" type responses.

So will we see cheesy scenes of Peter messing with Flash the entire movie? Nope.

Will we see Peter talking to a doorman the entire movie? Nope.

Like I said, LITTLE things that won't affect the entire film that I didn't enjoy.

The car chase, Peter having a chat with Captain Stacy...that gives me the "tone" of the film than tiny little scenes.

A positive tweet is good, but we shouldn't just assume it's gonna be great because four people we don't know said it will be.

Still, it has to be taken into account, I hate it when I read on other forums "Do I give a **** about a tweet review from some guy I dont even know?!", because it pretty much says that since those people are not necessarily film critics, then their opinion is worthless.

It can be true in some cases because some might not have a clue about movies in general, but still.

Exactly
People are saying that the reactions are 'mixed' when in reality the only negative comment is by a hater who hasnt even seen the movie
