Aha! Found it!. Since we drove the 'Lizard Verdict' Thread a bit off-topic, I thought I'd revive this Thread.

So, with a character director like Webb, I'd definitely like to see Venom get another chance. But only if Movie Nr. 4 is a lock. Part 2 and 3 should deserve new villains.

I would love to see Mysterio and Shocker as future villains. Especially Mysterio.

As of right now, Electro and Green Goblin are my picks to appear as the villain in TASM2 or TASM3.

We could have multiple villains in a movie,and the villains don't have to have any character development if Norman Osborn creates them.They could just be regular thugs who get super powers.

He could create:
-Hydro-Man
-Sandman
-Electro (pure electricity form)

He could also give Oscorp tech to some of these thugs,like:

-R.H.I.N.O.
-Vulture
-Shocker

I really don't want any villains that have already been in a previous movie. GG is an exception, because he's to Spider-man as to Joker is to Batman. So it's inevitable that he'll show up.

For other villains I would like Electro, Vulture, Mysterio, and maybe the Enforcers.

If they decide to bring Venom in, the movie shouldn't just be about him stalking Peter. Take some notes from Spectacular Spider-man and have him actually use the info he has instead of this "you're mine and mine alone!" crap.

I don't mind recycling villains, as long as it fit the story and the character and its attributes are used properly.

I want them to take parts from Spectacular Spider-Man. Bring in the Enforcers as normal people, then after realizing they don't stand a chance, turn them into super villains. Plus one major villain who's the Mastermind.

But I mainly just really want to see Shocker in a Movie.

The Enforcers turning into super villains would be cool.I like what they did with Shocker,but the other two Enforcers should be R.H.I.N.O. And Vulture.

There is a number of villains I would love to see grace the screen; even some of the characters most consider as minor villains...be it in supporting or cameo roles. Although I have my favorites for the next film, I still need to know the direction and approach this film taking; and, the progression of the characters, before I can say with some sound judgement, who I believe the next villain(s) should be. As of now, with a story in mind, initially, I would have to say Vulture and Rhino, as the leading film villains, with a number of other characters that help move and carry the story I envision. Yet, any of the villains mention in this thread would do just find with the proper rendering.

Agreed. Those are the most likely alongside Shocker and Venom, though, they might go the Ultimate route and have Shocker appear in as quick spoit at the beginning of the film robbing a bank.

I still wish they would open the mives with a fight scene using b or c-list villians. Ones that dont really need an origin story and spidey just dispatch them rather quickly and then move on to the story of the movie.

An opening fight with R.H.I.N.O. would be great and a good way to bring more villians to life on the big screen without having to devote an entire movie to them

Only thing I would think of is that the studio wouldnt want to devote any budget required for the cgi it would take for the 5-10 min of screentime for the villian

Plus it would go from opening credits to a voice over of spidey making jokes about how lame the villain is, yet another chance to inject more of his signature humor that was sadly missing from raimis films

I would like them to build up Norman Osborn's character in the second film, then go with Green Goblin in the third with another minor villian on the side.

Second film should start off with Spider-Man fighting like Rhino or Shocker, then have the film with maybe Kraven and Vulture.

The ideas for the next two films are endless. I would like to see TASM before I really judge how future films are approached.

I think that would be a pretty good idea. And it would probably work the best if they did it, like they did with Shocker in Spectacular Spider-Man.

Make Montana Shocker, Ox R.H.I.N.O. and Fancy Dan... well, I have no idea who he could be. Which villain could he be, that isn't introduction heavy?

Absolutely agree. Hopefully, they introduce Brock in the sequel, the symbiote in the third, and Venom in the fourth.

I would like to see Electro as the next villain; after that, Green Goblin. I also wouldn't oppose gang-oriented villains, such as Hammerhead, Tombstone, and the Enforcers.
