Perhaps, but I kind of hope that the MCU would lean Hulk towards a direction where he'll become more heroic than menace like. I think after all of the live action incarnations that we've gotten where the Hulk has been portrayed as a more neutral entity throughout the chaos taking place around him, that it would be a breath of fresh air to see him portrayed as a more heroic figure, especially since he doesn't have any solo outings of his own lined up.

Plus, Ant-Man was a co-founder of the Avengers group as well, but as far as the MCU goes, well..that's a different story, so they don't necessarily have to follow Hulk leaving the group soon after its formation.

Granted... Though having the Hulk as a stable member of the team, with Banner in control of the transformation is a bit of a departure for the character to my eyes and is sort of against what Hulk is all about. Plus, characters coming in to replace outgoing ones so as to add to the roster with fresh blood is an Avengers staple.

I agree having a stable Banner/Hulk dynamic going forward is a huge change.

Well it would be nice to at least have the personas of Bruce and Hulk actually "meet" each other within the confines of their mines so that we can see, from a visual perspective, the complexities of their union come to life.

I'd laugh myself silly if they kicked Hulk off the team and that was the last we saw of the character for the considerable future.

I said it's the weakest in Phase two. I didn't say I don't like the film. With the exception of Malekith, I liked the film much better than the first Thor. It was a definate step up for me!

I found that I appreciate Malekith more after seeing GotG. He and Ronan both leave me with the same feeling, which is that it would have been even better if we got to see more of them and what drives them. I think Malekith had a better look and presence when he was on screen though.

Doesn't IM3 take place over Christmas 2012?

I think it's Christmas 2013.

I thought in an interview they said that all of these movies take place in real time, meaning you would be correct.

In any case, here's my latest batch of set photos and pics regarding the production if anyone is interested. Updated with the Ultron drones, his Mk.1 look and more :D

But in AoS they know about Extremis in the first episode, which clearly happens at least weeks before TDW events.

So either IM3 is Xmas 2012 or TDW is in 2014
IMO, Iron Man 3 is the one Phase 2 exception to the "real time" statement - regardless of what the newspaper the kid hands Tony says (newspapers, after all, have been known to make typos even on dates). My reasoning is the flashback that starts the film is December 31, 1999. The rest of the movie takes place around Christmas 13 years later. December 1999 + 13 years = December 2012. If it were December 2013 that would be a couple weeks shy of 14 years, not 13.

Also, as Ghostcrow indicates, in the first episode of Agents of SHIELD Extremis (and its instability) is known about, and given that Agents of SHIELD is kind of a connecting thread between some of the Phase 2, it doesn't make sense to me that we would have references made to TDW fallout, but not IM3 fallout if it occurred just a month or two after the events of TDW (which it would have to if it took place Christmas 2013)

I have my own write up of years in this IMDb post (it's just my take on it)

This will sound stupid perhaps but curious, to those like me. I plan on putting AOS on my movie shelf with the MCU films and not on a separate shelf. Was wondering where you'd all put it?

Random and generic question of the day; who's your favourite Avenger/who cant you wait to see in this film?

Natasha is my favorite, and I can't wait to see (in addition to Natasha), more of Clint Barton. I can't wait to get a handle on his character in the MCU. So far all I know is he is awesomely snarky.

If I had a movie shelf, it'd go there with the rest of the films. lol

Duh, I should have been more clear. I meant where in between the other films would you place it. I figured I'd just place it after TDW and TWS and before GOTG. Stupid I know, stuff like that I'm just weird with. I'm anal with my collections and the placement of them sometimes. I'm very organized haha.

I have a shelf and a half of Blu Rays. On the half bit, I have all the Marvel movies in order (geeky I know). AoS will go there along with Cap2 (when it's out).... The question really is, where does it go?

Do I put it between Im3 and Thor2 (as we know the show starts after IM3 and before Thor 2) or do I put it beside Cap2?

See I'm like you haha. Very organized and geeky. The way I set everything up on my shelves etc. with AOS it's tough cause different episodes take place before or after certain events. So unless you wanna take individual discs that have certain episodes to place in proper order. Gonna have to figure out where to put it.

One of those videos capture what seems to me the end scene of the avengers....I also noticed that Cap hasn't got his shield with him....Will he use photonic shield on this movie or will they leave it for cap 3? What do you think guys? I'm guessin' the vibranium shield won't come back until avengers 3 with black panther....

Isn't the shield seen in Cap's hospital room when Falcon visits him towards the end of TWS? And haven't we seen set pics of Cap with the shield on his back?

Yeah, he's got it back already. Somebody must've dragged the Potomac for it. A missed opportunity for a One-Shot if you ask me. :oldrazz:
