I wasn't expecting that the villain for Avengers 2 will be Ultron.
My guess is that GotG will have nothing to do with Phase 2. GotG and its events are aimed for Avengers 3.
I think it mostly will be, but it may involve the future/time travel as a way to introduce Ultron without having Pym first maybe?
That seems strange since Ultron would seem to fit better with Ant-Man in Phase 3, but it seems like they have a master plan where those 2 work out separately.
Sweet. I truly have no idea where Whedon is going with this one. LOL.
I dont't expect Pym to make him. Marvel is known for making changes to their character back stories....hence why it seems everyone being introduced to the MCU is some sort of Shield agent (Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon).
My guess is that the higher ups aren't too happy with what the Avengers did in NY and decide to fund building a robot that can fight major threats but can be controlled. Ultron will be that robot but gains sentience.

It already is. Just read some comments on the "other site" and some are already complaining.Whatever they're doing, I'm sure it'll piss plenty of fans off.
Sounds great; interesting and awesome that they seem to be building to Thanos in A3.
pym has to be a part of it, because quite frankly, that's the only reason to include him. he's just otherwise just a "guy with shrinking powers"
I don't think he will be the soul maker of ultron, i think both he and tony will be
I bet he likely gets a mention in TA2.But they need some genius to *build* the thing. Enter: Dr. Pym, stage right.

I bet Ultron will already be created, he won't be made in avengers 2. That's too short of a story for Ultron. i think/hope it would be better if he already exists, does his thing in an ai form...builds a body after vision becomes good..and in antman, we get how he was created, and where he is currently maybe.
And since this movie seems packed already, I bet Thanos would have some sort of role, obviously not as big as Ultrons.
No offense but find it hard to believe you're familiar with Thanos either.I was looking forward to see Thanos as the main villain for TA2 but oh well, I'm not really familiar with Ultron.
Nothing yet but Vin Diesel has really been hinting at it.where's there been any actual confirmation that Vision will appear in Avengers 2?

isn't he too buff for vision?
I think it's just as likely that he will be voicing Ultron, who is Vision's father anyway.
Have you seen Vision before?isn't he too buff for vision?

Vin Diesel playing the Vision is looking a lot more likely now. Ultron is a great villain and could actually pose a physical threat to the Avengers (Loki was more of a mental villain).
Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if Vin Diesel both voiced Ultron AND played Vision. That would be pretty cool actually.
