Age of Ultron The Avengers 2! The Official News and Speculation Thread - - - Part 30

For those concerned that the Avengers don't really seem like a team and lack that strong family bond, I'd say don't lose hope. It's not really about how much screentime we see with them in that dynamic...with good writing and directing, those strong family ties can easily be established. Case in point-Guardians of the Galaxy. Like someone said, in 2 hours, they were closer and more family-like than the Avengers after a whole phase.

I think AoU is going to be a big piece of the puzzle. It's easy to lose focus when talking about such big future plans, but we still have no idea what impact AoU will have.

lol this is me as well. It's taking so freaking long! It better be worth the wait.

It's locked down within the next 15 days. Just a little longer.

Halfway through Oct. It must be soon.

If we are half-way through October and we are supposed to get the trailer by the end of the month, shouldn't we already had at least a trailer release date announcement from Marvel? I really want to see it...

How the f*** can civil war work when there's no secret identities?

Since when has a comic book been a literal page-by-page adaption in the MCU? Take out the fine points, and focus on the thought of a major disagreement between Tony/Steve, likely branched around a government initiative and boom... done.

Why does everyone take things so freaking literal?

Yeah I don't get why suddenly everyone is like "oh it has to be comic accurate"

The MCU has never been comic accurate. Just because something worked in the comics, doesn't mean it works in the MCU. And vice versa

Not usually, I don't think. We'll maybe get a weeks notice, maybe less.

Worst case scenario, it comes out with Interstellar & Big Hero 6 in the first week of November (Tuesday the 4th), which is just 3 weeks from now. We're nearly there.

I was thinking the same thing. For previous trailers there hasn't been more than a few days notice beforehand. I think you're right with the Interstellar/Big Hero 6. Bring it Marvel!!

Hey, calm it. I never read civil war. Having to reveal themselves is the only thing I know about it. When civil war is mentioned, that's what I think of.

Those f-bombs on a forum that doesn't like them sure is "calm"...

Heard it was going to be on XD today around 9:20 pm

Is it true ?

I hope it airs tonight, though it might be just another behind-the-scenes thing.

Why do I have the feeling it will be the latter ?

Since the trailer will come with GOTG B-ray, I dont think they will release it before

I doubt it. If they debut the trailer on TV, I couldn't see them premiering it with anything other than Agents of SHIELD. If the rumors are true and the trailer is set to premiere with Interstellar, then it's inevitably going to pop up at some point in about three weeks. If they premiere it on TV, my money is on the 11/4 episode of Agents of SHIELD.

Do you think that there is a chance we will get the trailer before the 4th of November? I really hope Marvel releases it as soon as possible...

Oh mine says (on Amazon) it's not due to arrive till near the end of Nov. That's ages away! Although will be good to be able to watch in HD on the big screen.

You'd have thought so. :csad:

DC just announced there movie slate for the next umpteen years. Your turn Marvel. Give us some real news.

I'd rather wait a little longer for an awesome trailer than get a rushed half-assed one like for the first Avengers. Looking back on it, as awesome as the movie was, the trailer we got that October was kinda lame.
