I haven't forgotten how outraged people were a couple years back about salary negotiations before Avengers 2 started filming. Lots of BS reporting and back and forth *****ing during that whole phase.

I hope Chris Hemsworth realizes this franchise is his meal ticket. Audiences aren't going to pay to see him en masse unless he's swinging a hammer.

Even RDJ who could command megabucks elsewhere is unlikely to find a franchise with deep enough pockets to pay him what they want to and what he can get in these films.

I don't think so. The MCU will just keep chugging along with new characters and New Blood. There will be an Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Spiderman Trilogy. As old characters franchise ride to an end new one will crop up but the old cast of characters and actors will stay on to appear in other peoples movies.

Like for instance Thor could pop up in Prince of Power movie.

Well, Phase 3 is gonna see the original Avengers team probably disassembled, with little factions splintering off doing their own team ups or guest shots, until Infinity War.

There will likely be either ongoing Avengers films or general MCU event films (after IW2 I mean) where the guys whose solos have come to an end or those who don't get solos can get together again. As well as appearing in any other character's films as required.
