Are most of you seeing the thursday show? I haven't looked up any friday tickets but I assume they are all sold out. The 7pm show for Thursday was sold out and thursday shows don't usually sell out much.

At my theater the 1st Thursday night IMAX show is sold out, but all subsequent IMAX shows were not, both that night and Friday, so ya never know. I think the very 1st shows on Thursday are selling out first just because they're the first shows, period.

I have tickets for both nights. :D

I'm re-watching Thor 2 right now. Just really thought about how high the stakes are in this film. Not only is earth in danger, but all of the nine realms. That's bigger than anything in any other MCU film.
I've really gained a new appreciation for this movie after watching it again.

I still don't understand why they nurfed Malekith in that movie. Thor's mom beat him in a sword fight. How could I expect to buy him as any threat to Thor when Thor's mom kicks his ass?

Agreed. Malekith just has no presence in that movie. Doesn't feel like he's a threatening or powerful villain at all.

Take into account Marvel's screwing up of the "Mandarin" in Iron Man 3 and I can see why people's biggest pet peeve when it comes to Marvel is the villains.

Just perusing the local theater I go to for most of my movies and they have 15 showings tomorrow and then 25 on Friday. That is a massive amount. I think the first one only got half those totals each day.

Not only that but he yields the power of an infinity stone inside himself and yet he is still weak.

TDW could've been great, maybe even epic, but moving the conflict to Earth and let Darcy and her intern's antics occur during the most tense moments of the climatic scene utterly ruined the movie. It was pretty good about 2/3 way through, then the last act completely destroyed the movie for me. I hope Ragnarok will not repeat the same mistake as TDW.

Darcy and her intern won't be in it. Jane probably won't either for that matter.

Well, I was wrong about my original statement, Grace Randolph loved it.

I am guessing in an earlier draft Thor and Jane had split up but Marvel decided to change course on that.

There are still rumors going around that Portman and Hopkins want(ed) out of their contracts and Marvel let them. I honestly wouldn't mind if Ragnarok just dropped the Earth plot entirely. We need a serious Thor movie that sets up the major ramifications of Infinity War.

Are people really calling Age of Ultron one of the worst CBMs?

Screw "it's subjective", that's just utterly stupid!

agree anybody calling it one of the worst CBM has an agenda/troll

I've said this before, but even though it has flaws I haven't read anyone completely hating it. Are there really people saying it's the worst CBM?

Is Klaw in the film or did his scene glimpsed in the trailer get left on the cutting room floor?

Yeah. Frustrating.

As I've said, people are making this sound Thor 2 disappointing. Worst part? People weren't tearing that apart like they are here, at least from my memory. And this early, too.

Could be just me since I did not see anyone mentioning it, but Klaw kind of stood out for me. Something about it makes me feel he will be a good villain.

In the comics he's a Black Panther villain. Therefore He will probably be the main villain in the BP movie.

Going to see this tonight, about 14 hours from now. Can't wait! But it's going to be a long and frustrating day at work!!!

And yes, I'll be wearing my awesome Thor necktie.
