Ha ha, Grant.... but if this is true, it means he may have his comic style cowl with the scallops that go over his cheeks while leaving his nose exposed...if that's so, color me excited!!

I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but I'm thinking that the costume and Barry as Flash may be the best thing about this show!

I wonder if this is an official photo but he just zoomed ( ) in ultra close to get this pic...be funny if true...

Agreed, that pic Grant tweeted indicates that the cowl with nose piece and the other Smallville style costumes are out. This is how I want Flash costume to look. (minus the chin strap.)

The lack of yellow boots was my biggest gripe with the 90's Flash suit(next to the OTT fake muscles). He better have his awesome yellow boots.

^^ that costume right there is IDEAL (sans chin strap). Take away the chin strap and it's exactly what I want to see. Perfection.

I'd be okay with something like this while maintaining the boot look, although I hardly want to see Flash running around in a pair of Nikes... I hope his costume is better than The Amazing Spalding Man's was in the first film.

I've seen it. Its red with yellow highlights. Very sleek, not much in the way of musculature. Similair to New 52, but more along the lines of Tron. No mask. Theres a helmet like cowl with just his mouth area showing, fits along the jaw with a chinpiece, has a yellow visor, rounded over his nose. The emblem is like Justice League animated, small white circle, gold bolt, and raised. No gloves or boots, but there are yellow highlights and yellow tread. Very small "wings" attached to and protruding from the visor. Small yellow kneepads, elbowpads and strike points on the gloves.

I typed in streamlined running suit and this is what google popped up. I get the feeling they will probably go along the same lines as Arrow and not make it too much a costume or superheroy.

Unless they go with the New 52 idea that the costume is armor created by the Speed Force he is connected to.

I've been watching Naruto, when Rock Lee fought Gaara. I hope Flash's super speed looks like that on the show. I don't want constant slow-mo like in Smallville, or constantly watch Flash run during a fight. I hope they show the fights most of the time from our perspective. Which means we should rarely see Flash.

I love how Lee basically disappears the moments he runs, only to reappear for a moment when he delivers a punch or kick. You should just constantly see a red streak whizzing around, and only see him when he stops for a fraction of a second.

I think that teleporter-like effect is a very cool thing to do sometimes, when Flash is at full tilt, but I think a number of methods should be used to show the Flash fighting. He's not always at full speed, y'know? Bullet time, normal time, blurred background, blurred flash, all that good stuff.

My god what a travesty. If that's the suit description I hope it never sees the light of day.
