The Justice League isn't about practicality and usefulness and 'sense' ;)

It's about your favorite DC heroes coming together. That's it.

I think he's better as a lone wolf though. He can handle threats alone. It would make things too easy to have him.

Sorry! No offense to his fans. The shape-shifting and telepathy are too much, IMO. He doesn't even need the JL. I'd be fine if they encountered him, but don't need him in the core group.
This logic can be applied to Superman as well though. And Martian Manhunter has been in almost every iteration of the Justice League, his place on the team is well deserved.

I think the team should definitely consist of the major seven, but i think it'll be the new 52 team

i'm sorry but this is so illogical coming from a Superman fan.

Yeah, but like... His weakness is fire. And you saw MOS. If he's ever in a movie with Cavill, everything will be on fire. J'onn will be relegated to the Watchtower cause the entire world is on fire.

Superman could probably handle many things alone too, I guess. And that's my point: the JL already has one really powerful member, why do they need more?

Eh, it's not a big deal though. My objection to him is only a casual one, not something I'm absolute about. I'd be fine with him being included.

I don't really think that, he's relatively easy to take down compared to most heroes, thinking of the scene in JL: New Frontier where Bats confronts him telling him "I have a $70000 sliver of green rock to stop the one in metropolis, all I need for you is a penny for a book of matches." MM is extremely powerful, but his weakness is extremely easy to make, impossible to get rid of for good, and can show up at any time in any place. His weakness being so readily available makes having allies a great help to him.

If the League were real, wouldn't you want them to be as powerful as possible?

When a being like Darkseid threatens Earth, i think they'll be glad that they have MM on the team..

For a threat like that, MM would be most useful

This always made me laugh, on the subject:

I guess I think a stacked team makes things less tense, but in reality, that ship probably sailed when Superman joined. If the threat is big enough, I guess it won't matter.

Lol, good plan Supes.

I feel bad for whoever writes Justice League. How the hell do you put all those characters in a situation that they have to work together to overcome? They're all so damn powerful...
GL can basically create anything...
Flash can run at the speed of light
and Superman is as powerful as the writer wants him to be

Really? I've never found that to be a problem in any of the JLeague stories I've read or watched.

You just need a powerful enemy, a lot of them, or something that requires the specific abilities of each hero to overcome.

Exactly. It gets harder when more members are added too.

Oh well, I'm sure there will a writer up to the challenge someday

Luckily for whoever writes the film will have about 60+ years of stories where all of these powerful beings needed one another to overcome their oppressor.

They've been doing it in the comics for decades, the fortunate thing is that extremely powerful heroes means even more powerful villains. Darkseid, Brainiac, etc.

They could use Darkseid. He has enough powers and resources to challenge them if written well.

Darkseid is the most logical choice to bring all these guys together. I'm hoping for the Legion of Doom at some point though

Boy I heard this section went a bit odd but this is entertaining. :p

But I'm just hoping it's at least as entertaining as the 90's show. I enjoyed that one quite a bit. Maybe we can get a cameo from Mark Hammil again.

You missed the best bits, Kevan. It's normalized now, lol.

It all depends how they write it. Even Joker or Lex could take on the JLeague by themselves (not physically, obviously, since they're rarely physical threats).

Yeah, I guess so. I could be open to more characters being in the JL in that case.

In any case, I want Flash in it. I don't care if they use the one from this show or recast. Just have him in the League.

Man,I can't possibly catch up on all the posts since last time I checked (But I gather people are getting huffy with those who are not acting as if the costume is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and bashing the -superior- 90's version to make their point.)

I saw the other pictures and the emblem has GOT to be changed to white at some point.Looks like Flash Gordon.Something isn't totally sitting well with me concerning the color/texture of the suit. But overall they're 75/80% there.

Yep pretty much.

Maybe this is completely unrelated, but GL and Flash were absent from the JL War cover (and back cover), even though GL is featured so heavily in the story.

or maybe it was just a design thing (with the Green color sticking out and the repetitiveness of Shazam/Flash's costumes).

Flash's portrayal in JL: War was one of the best things about the film, probably my favorite aspect, that and the Superman VS Batman VS GL fight. That was excellent. Anyway they definitely got Flash right with that film.

Mrs Kent what do you think of Grant Gustin?

I love his fanboy moment with Batman.

"You do tight, efficient work"

":)"

These two guys are just so weird.

I don't have any strong feelings about him. Looks wise, he fits the character. But acting wise, I haven't seen him in much. I'll form more of an opinion after seeing him in this show.
