Bingo. Not to mention his horrible acting.
Looks and ACTS like Bruce more than Keaton, Val, or West EVER did.![]()

I think he does.
I think you're over looking someone in that showI still think Alexander Skasgard has some qualities that would really mesh well with Bruce Wayne/Batman without him being simply an immitation of the ones before. He's got a little Adam West in him, a little Bale, a little Conroy but also a creepiness on True Blood I think fits perfectly with the role. He's a villain at times, but a villain you want to root for. Plus he's very tall, I think that adds to the role.

Oh I agree it would bring back bad memories and make fans (of the movies and comics) steer clear of anything batman related with him in it. I'm only saying he could do a really good job given the right director and script.I actually think Clooney could have pulled off a decent Batman if they movie hadn't been crap, but it is what it is and recasting him in the role will just bring back bad memories. Better to start fresh.
Again I agree. While I prefer Batman Begins over TDK, it was still much better than the previous 4.Yeah, it's a shame it went down like it did, but well, if it hadn't happened that way, we probably wouldn't have gotten the two (and hopefully three) best Batman movies ever.
Also, thank God Armie Hammer never played Batman. I really don't think I could have taken him seriously. As Superman? Maybe. Aquaman? Sure why not. But Batman? Hell no.
Neither was Keaton. Nor was Ledger for that matter. But look at how much those guys surprised us.I think he is a good actor, not a great choice for Batman.
Except those actors had talent. Hammer doesn't.
I agree with all of this, actually. When I said he still wasn't an ideal fit, that didn't mean I wouldn't like him in the role. I mainly said that because his voice isn't at all Batman-esque, but that's not necessarily a deal-breaker to me. If it weren't for that, I'd think he was the obvious choice.Gosling is incredibly versatile and has playboy looks to boot. Plus the dark and sexy vibe he just oozes (when the role calls for it), puts any other candidate in his age range as a distant second.
