Just watched the Person of Interest pilot (quite an enjoyable show) and for some reason I couldn't help but think of Jim Caviezel as Batman.

His quiet, yet intimidating presence on the show seemed fantastic. I know some people think he was rather 'boring', but that's the point. He's a broken man, haunted by his past.

Plus, he absolutely kicked *** in the action scenes.

I know I'm not the only who has thought of him in the role but I have a feeling it could work.

And yes, Bryan Cranston for Gordon. Nobody else

This guy was practically born to play Jim Gordon. He's even voicing him in the upcoming Batman: Year One animated adaptation, and early reviews have even said he's one of the major highlights.

You know, a few year back, I probably would have thought you were crazy. But after seeing him in Person of Interest, I think he would be a great choice. He's got the charm to portray playboy Bruce Wayne, the thoughtfulness to play detective Bruce Wayne, and the chops and skills to kick someone's @$$ as Batman. t:

Like I said in the TDKR Board, they shouldn't even bother holding auditions for Gordon in the next franchise. WB should just send its representatives straight away to Cranston's house with bags of cash in their hands shouting "TAKE OUR MONEY."

Same here. Not sure about joker, I could see him as penguin. but nevertheless, I still want to see him somewhere.

IMO he looks a bit like a combination of Michael Keaton and Daniel Craig, in a good way. The only issues are his accent and maybe his age. Again, I'm just throwing him out there as a suggestion, because I thought he somewhat resembled a taller, more muscular Keaton. What do you think?

I find it ironic that everyone wants Bryan Cranston as Gordon and how on the last page people wanted Aaron Paul as the Joker, well... it's not ironic really. Bryan looks the part, and he would do well in that role, but you can't watch this and tell me he wouldn't make a pretty damn good Joker as well.
