He's busier sucking in his beer bellies. Plus his chest is not pleasing at all.

You people are the worst. With a capital AWFUL. :o

Majik is right though. Luckily Affleck has the frame and I'm sure enough cardio and weight sessions come May he'll be able to look serviceable enough. It won't matter all too much since I'm guessing Snyder will keep using his tried and true method of padding the costumes with a very subtle layer of silicone underneath so it looks like the actual actors body being emphasized through the suit.

No biggie.

Hey-hey! Watch it with that, son. There's hope for everyone.....

When you look at someone like Chris Pratt, who recently lost a great deal of body fat in his transformation for GotG, it does give you hope, but Pratt's a man of 34. Affleck, on the other hand, is in his early 40s. Don't get me wrong: with continued training, I think he'll eventually look great. I just don't expect him to lose much of the facial fat he's accumulated with age.

I just hope we get a black/gray or blue/gray but-suit, and not another all black suit again.

This is Affleck just 3 years ago.

Age isn't as big a factor as people make it.

There's also the example of Hugh Jackman. He's in his mid-40's but he's still gets ridiculously buff in order to play Wolverine.

True. I heard Hugh Jackman would wake up in the middle of the night, and drink a pizza shake. I think Affleck is fine.

There's also Christian Bale, who goes through such massive body/weight changes for his roles that I'm kind of surprised that he hasn't developed major medical problems by now.

Oh for sure. Christian Bale is screwing with his body, big time. It's like the guy is now seeking out drastically different roles on purpose. He's been flip flopping his body weight now since The Mechanic. When was that 2002? The dude needs to chill.

Filming for The Town started in the summer of 2009, so it's closer to 5 years. I'm just saying that facial fat, once accumulated with age + additional factors, is somewhat difficult to lose even when you're in relatively good shape (that's why people get chin lifts). As such, the condition of Affleck's body, as a whole, shouldn't be judged solely on the way his face appears. Loss of body fat will certainly help, but don't be surprised if the "double chin" doesn't go away entirely.

Even if he does have more "chunk in the chin", I'm sure they can work with it during filming. I don't think it'll be nearly as bad as we are imagining.

Wait...what? First, what is a Pizza shake? It's sounds both disgusting and intriguing.

But I had heard Jackman, during his training, had to wake up in the middle of the night and drink a protein shake. This is the first time I've heard of this pizza shake.

Now I want to try one. Honestly. I know it will probably be a bad idea but it's just one of those things that I feel like I have to try.
