BvS The Batsuit Thread - Part 2

It's the perfect time to use this color scheme. They even went with the dark blue for the Justice League animated movie.

I can't put into words how bad I want that suit

My problem with this is it will look hilarious on a real person. First they would need the most muscly person ever, then they would have to glue the spandex into the muscles. There is a fan-film out there where the Batman is wearing the costume from Hush, and the problem was it is still cloth.

All they have to do is sculpt the suit onto the actor's body to give it the appearance that it is skin-tight. Like the MOS suit.

I know that's what you want but I wanted your opinion do you actually think they would go with a design similar to the classic look?

Depends what you mean by "similar". I don't think it would be exactly the same; we won't get the trunks, and the suit will inevitably have some kind of texture and styling to demonstrate that it offers protection. The belt would probably be redesigned to look like it could stow things. But I don't see why the classic suit couldn't be the starting point.

I was just curious, me personally I wouldn't mind seeing them go back to basics and give us something more in line with the classic comic batsuit, strangely I have a feeling we might not be getting that.

One things for sure I truly hope we don't get another confusing looking overly armored batsuit.

I hope they'll take that route... (see my manip page 10, it's close of Batman Inc. with some blue)
They can keep a material similar to MOS suit. Something between Night Owl and Superman would be perfect, except if Snyder to make an outfit like for Ozymandias... But I'm pretty sure he will get it right.

Yeah I liked the colors you used in that manip. A combination of that color, the Inc. suit, and some bit of functional flair to the suit(like the very subtle armor on the Nightwing costume in Young Justice), would make an amazing new Batsuit.

Stay frosty for now. Costume design in MOS was hardly stellar. But, hey, hope springs eternal.

I would argue that the MOS suit is the best live-action Superman costume yet. And all the Kryptonian costume designs were fantastic too.

Yeah, I liked it. It was more sympathetic to the classic design than the ugly rubber Bat suits were, but still looked 'credible' from a contemporary perspective.

I made a second manip, just to see if the blue can works. I pretty like both versions but with a preference for the first one. Anyway, we need a suit without all the useless details that they add today, something simple, elementary... a symbol... eh, wrong universe...
That's said, I have faith in Snyder about the visuals.

This to me looks better than any of the Bat suits we have seen on screen before and is definitely more along the lines of what I want to seet:

Since the grey has never been tried in a modern Batman movie, there's no way you could know that, and I also have to ask you WHY you think grey wouldn't work. Besides, all black has been done to death and it's time for a change, back to a proper grey and black (or dark blue) suit.

Snyder will make sure the suit looks amazing. The suit is one thing I'm not at all worried about

I vote gunmetal gray with a texture that contrasts MOS, if that makes any sense.
