I wouldn't put it past Marvel to unthaw him in the BP movie to help whatever big battle happens.

Seems like most of the next Marvel movies coming out are essentially "Marvel Team-Ups". I'm not complaining though

Yeah, just what I was thinking too. Maybe Bucky will be unfreezed to help out in any battle that takes place there. Maybe this time with a Vibranium arm. I don't see Klaw doing much of the work as the villain. This movie is suppose to lead up Infinity War somehow, so maybe Wakanda holds something Thanos needs.

Never even thought of that. We are still missing 2 stones right? Can Wakanda be where one is located at? Don't know much about BP's background but could a stone be the source of all their advancements? At least in the MCU.

Could be. But the two that are missing, one is going to appear in Doctor Strange. So that leaves one. Unless that last one is on the GotG, which I really hope so. Having two Infinity stones appear on Earth (3 if you count Vision's) is a big of a let down for such a vast Universe.

Kinda sucks that Vision is going to have his head caved in during the Infinity War...

I think too that it would be highly coincidental. But in reality only 2 originated on Earth kind of..the Tesseract and Doc Strange one. Does Strange control a stone, thats how he receives his power?

SO if no stone in Wakanda what is Wakanda's unbelievable source of advancement? Whats in cannon?

Vibranium

Vibranium

I understand that Wakanda is the source of Vibranium, but thats just a super impressive metal. It does not do anything else right? Thinking there is has to be another advancement in the area of knowledge somehow than just the best alloy on Earth for technical superiorness. That my thought at least.

I've been theorizing for some time that the Soul Stone is in Wakanda.

In the comics Wakanda is technologically advanced, but they also have a lot of mysticism.

A concept that's been used in the past is that there's a resurrection alter in Wakanda that can raise the dead, and it's powered by an alien stone.

As to your other question, Wakanda's technological advancement is attributed to two things in the comics.

Wakanda's tech advancements were originally attributed to T'Challa. He left Wakdanda, studied abroad, and pretty much built Wakdanda into a superpower by himself.

About a decade ago there was retcon where now Wakanda has always been technologically advanced because they're the oldest civilization on earth and have remained unconquered.

As I said in my other post, they're supposed to be the oldest civilization on the MCU Earth. The Vibranium plays a role, but not being conquered and not suffering from the same issues that plagued the rest of the continent allowed them to develop unabated.

One of the words to activate Bucky's programming was homecoming. Coincidence or not?

Keep in mind that Civil War was done filming long before Sony and Marvel had decided on a title for the new Spider-Man film.

well when they DECIDED to reveal the title...they could have it in mind for a while

thats a stretch. Bucky and Spidey have nothing to do with each other and I dont think theres any chance of him factoring into Spidey's film

It's like assuming Thor 2 would have involved the Tesseract as its main plot point, just because Thor took it to Asgard at the end of Avengers.
Instead of the Tesserect it involved the reality stone and Imo that might as well be the same difference now Odin is out Loki is pretending to be Odin and Asgard will almost certainly fall, sounds to me like Thanos is coming for that Tesseract either as the main plot or after credits scene

I hope Thanos isn't the big bad for Thor 3. It should be Surtur. I also hope they introduce Baldur. Can't believe he hasn't been adapted yet.

I thought that they confirmed the soul stone would be introduced in Doctor Strange.

Nothing has been confirmed about which infinity Stone would appear in which movie.

We do know that Kevin Feige said:

"In this film, the Eye is a very important relic that can be quite dangerous if used in the wrong hands, because it has the ability to do any number of things, the most dangerous of which is, it can sort of manipulate probabilities. Which is also another way of saying, ‘screw around with time’ — which is part of our story."

And to most that points to the Time Stone more than the Soul Stone, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Did any one else think the funniest part of the movie was when Ant man got big and spiderman said the s word? I was not expecting that at all. I think he was going to say something different. I couldn't stop laughing at that part.
that part was amazing I also loved giantman's laugh

Antman's exwife is going to be so mad at him

We don't know the circumstances of him being recruited.

She knows he's Ant-Man and that he works for Hank Pym. He didn't just leave to help Cap protect Bucky, he went to go help stop a team of Super Soldiers.

We also don't know if he was recruited directly or through Hank Pym.

I loved the movie but a couple of things still make me scratch my head and hopefully someone can explain them to me.

1. Why would Tony recruit a 15 year old kid to fight in an adult's world? Look, I get that Spider-Man is very, very strong and capable in a fight. (We see that in the Airport scene.) But still, it's pretty irresponsible to recruit a kid against a bunch of experienced, enhanced individuals. I loved seeing Spider-Man there but I'm just trying to understand why Tony would risk having such a young, inexperienced kid at this fight. Was it just so he could have a wild card that none of them could take on?

2. How on Earth did Zemo, who I thought was Hydra but turned out to be just a Sokovian colonel who lost everyone in the Battle of Sokovia a year prior, be able to come up with all of this intel to bring the Avengers into this revenge plot? I get that Black Widow released all the info about SHIELD but was the Winter Solider program and all of it's detail leaked out, too? I know he mentions that to guy when he has him upside down. How did he even know about the book with Bucky's trigger words and the surveillance tap showing the elder Stark family murdered? Unless I'm missing something here, that's a major plot hole for me.
