Oh yuck! I didn’t realize this movie is using the same cinematographer as the Flash.

I understand he’s worked with Gunn on the last two Guardians movies and TSS, but the Flash was so ugly that that’s an unforgivable mark in Braham’s history for me.

Do we know the budget for this movie? It’s so strange to me that the usual premier slots in the cast & crew are going to such people. Is the budget low, or is Gunn just spending all his money on effects?

My thought for the day...

I really don't think it's a screen grab from the film. I think it's just a shot showing us a threat and the casual everyday nature of Super suiting up composed together.

Hearing word we might get some CC characters in Superman. This movie is going to be full of characters to look out for in the background.

Something to consider: it could be Superman characters simply appearing in Creature Commandos first. …Not that I’m secretly hoping for that or anything. :o

Now that I think about it, what happened with Jason Momoa, it seems like he got a new role based that video, but it's been silent now. I understand before Aquaman came out not saying anything. Wondering if lobo shows up in Supergirl assuming that is who he is playing.

There is a very easy way to make Lobo a big part of Supergirl but it is painfully stupid.

I'm really not trying to play semantics here but taken on set is different to a scene from the film and obviously the goings on our the window are added later.

I am happy to be totally wrong but I'm just not getting scene vibes from it but more just a look at what things will look like in camera

Doesn't this suggest the backdrop is part of the scene?

I'm not suggesting this is an actual still from the film. Its definitely posed. But it seems likely its posed based on what is going on in the scene they were filming when they decided to take it.

Since it is the volume, I imagine it is pretty simple to just throw up any image you want on a moments notice. To me, it seems more likely that they threw up a generic "call to action" sort of image rather that rendering the actual scene for the photo shoot. And given how secretive James Gunn is about the movie, I really doubt he would reveal a big action set-piece for the suits reveal. That is just my guess. I guess we'll see when the movie comes out.

I initially thought this was the Volume, but apparently James Gunn is not a fan of it.

It’s funny in just a few years, the Volume went from this wildly innovative tool that was praised for looking much better than a typical green screen to this pariah that no one ever wants anyone to ever use again.

Honestly...it always looked fake as heck to me when watching on a decent TV.

Mr. Terrific?

Note: This is a video of a stunt rehearsal and doesn't include costumes or anything:
