Disagree. It’s Marvel’s best interest for Superman to do well. Marvel wants to beat DC but want the movie to be successful. They want it like Doctor Strange vs The Batman at the box office. Both successful but Marvel made the most money. You just know Disney will put something out for FF4 to try and drown out a Superman teaser.

Yeah, I can’t see the most important movie in the next phase being rushed to theaters but you never know. I don’t think Jurassic World 4 is staying at their spot. Superman cuts it off in their second week.Personally, I'm still inclined to believe that Fantastic Four gets pushed back to the November 2025 date currently held by Blade. They didn't start filming until July and there's no way that Blade makes its current date.
Jurassic World is a stronger cinematic franchise than both Superman and F4.Yeah, I can’t see the most important movie in the next phase being rushed to theaters but you never know. I don’t think Jurassic World 4 is staying at their spot. Superman cuts it off in their second week.
So you think Superman will move?Jurassic World is a stronger cinematic franchise than both Superman and F4.
"Jurassic World" did 1.670M back in 2015, "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" 1.310M in 2018 and "Jurassic World: Dominion" 1.001M in 2022.
The first "Jurassic World" is still in the top 10 of the highest grossing movies of all time.
"Jurassic World: Dominion" is part of the small circle of only 8 films that have exceeded one billion in the post-Covid era.
Superman and F4 must fear confrontation with dinosaurs more than the other way around.
That doesn't mean it won't move...the continued diminishing returns means they are going to want it in the best spot possible to avoid it falling further plus the last 3 released in June. Not saying they will do this but June is pretty light on blockbusters (right now only Ballerina qualifies really and I honestly am not sure it qualifies) so they could move it up a couple of weeks and be free and clear.Jurassic World is a stronger cinematic franchise than both Superman and F4.

Sounds like Fantastic 4, Superman and Jurassic World are playing chicken with one and other. If they space themselves between June and the end of July all three should do well. I don’t understand the games the studios are playing. Superman claimed July first. That doesn't mean it won't move...the continued diminishing returns means they are going to want it in the best spot possible to avoid it falling further plus the last 3 released in June. But if and when FF moves I expect Superman to move to the end of the month because it will have no real big competition for a while outside of kids films. I figured FF will move first so it just flows easier. Th question is whether they keep up the charade that Blade is going to be made.
That was the cost of the last one so considering the much tighter schedule, it actually does.I mean it's rumored to cost $265 million so not sure "keep the budget down " applies here
Now that most of the creatives and talent involved for that project have been confirmed, won't news on that front start to die down a little now?At least we have Green Lantern news to distract us from the Superman drought.
There’s gonna be more than 2 people in the show, so I’d imagine there’s still gonna be some casting to hear about. And then…December! Now that most of the creatives and talent involved for that project have been confirmed, won't news on that front start to die down a little now?
That's true. For some reason, I figured that most of the remaining cast would be filled with original characters, as opposed to characters taken from the comics. Who are you expecting to see next? There’s gonna be more than 2 people in the show, so I’d imagine there’s still gonna be some casting to hear about. And then…December!
Would be cool to get something at NYCC. Maybe a poster? New pic? Wouldn’t rule it out!
