of course it was ironic. people were generalizing the japanese and anime so he did the same about british people. mainly because it was a brit who was talking about how batman is an american icon and therefore shouldnt be done in an eastern style. the original argument was ironic, hence an ironic statement followed.

and kez got it. he then made an ironically racist statement about the japanese. because kez is a brit. and that was the point of the whole thing =)

Actually I only made it about Brits because it is ironic that batman is an "American Icon" yet the best movie (arguably) and performances we have seen are from predominantly people from the UK or people not from America.

Cool stuff. I like the cover for the 2 disc/Blu-Ray edition the best. However, I think it would have been better if they would have used the Batman/clock artwork above the DVD cover images for the actual cover.

These guys worked extremely hard on this, and extremely hard to please the fans as much as they could... but I guess you can't make everyone happy.

I just hope they captured the "soul" of Batman in these shorts, no matter what the style.
