Nice. I admit I was a little mean to JC, although I do think Avatar has a one-dimensional villain and is somewhat simplistic in its "bad civilization vs. enlightened natives" conflict.

Agreed to a point, but id argue that that is also a simplistic view of the film. It was more western civilization vs 'savage' civilzation, with tons of subtlety and intricacy to found. Not nearly as well layered as Nolan, but still very much there. But I digress, haha, they're both well thought out films that pass as action films while being considerably more in content and much more in terms of grandiosity.
