If he read the script, how could he not know if Hugo Strange was in?

Meh. Probably looking too much into it.

I think when they said "He hadn't even heard the story" they were referring to the Robin Williams rumor. That was the story, not the script.

The whole Hugo Strange/Robin Williams rumor has been very odd for me from the get go. Im beginning to think that he royaly screwed up and is covering his tail!! HAHA they are probably trying to revoke his BatPass!!

Why would Jett even say it at all, period. The Villians have already been announced, we have it set in our minds that Catwoman and Bane are the villians.

Why even bother typing RW as Strange? hmmm thats like him saying during the Dark Knight days after we hear about Two-Face and Joker, Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Penguin? hmmmm and even adds quotations to the word "friend" as he was probably referring to someone important.

He's covering his tail now scared cause this has spread like a wildfire, he post, "All I was doing was thinking out loud after a chat I had with an industry friend of mine." Then why the heck dont you just tweet, "How cool would if have been to see RW as Hugo Strange?" Im telling you something is up!!

Jett is privvy to more information than the common fan, and he doesn't want you to forget it, either. He likes to be considered as one "in the know", but i imagine they just throw him a few morsels that if he does leak, it's not really a big deal after all.

He always has these matter of fact statements like Perez Hilton does
"BOF has known this for quite some time, but wasn't allowed tosay anything"
Then why say anything at all? Because you want your ego stroked, that's why.

If you listen to the actual audio interview he never mentions Hugo Strange. He asks if he can confirm or deny the rumors that Williams has been cast in The Dark Knight Rises. Never mentions Hugo Strange to Wally.

Thanks for editing that interview to just the Wally part...phenomenal interview with a lot of interesting info.

What I took away from this interview, the entire team is pump to do Rises. It doesn't feel like an obligation because of how much WB gave them leeway on Inception.

Well, the hype for TDK was through the roof and they delivered, so right now Nolan is running on the goodwill from that.

Of course, that doesn't apply if you didn't like TDK.
