Seriously some of you must have some slight hearing problems. English is not even my first language and I understand almost everything perfect. At least with the latest bootleg trailer with better sound. In the first one I didn't hear some of Selina's words and Bane's way of saying Gotham. But that was cleared up with the next trailer.

In the prologue I hear everything.

Same. And what's weirder is I keep saying, Bane is the clearest of the bunch for me. Very well spoken character.

Yes, I know that. I wasn't saying that it was insufficiently revelatory, but that what it appears to reveal (it's about class struggle and, like, inequality and stuff m'kay) doesn't especially interest me, and represents a relatively simplistic thematic background in comparison to TDK.

For me, it was just Bane's last few lines that I couldn't hear.

Everything leading up to "Crashing this place... with no survivors" was fine.

I imagine these have more to do with the quality of the bootleg. I expect they will be perfectly understandable in high quality.

I can only speak for myself, but I hope Nolan tones it down a bit with the score and background noise when characters are giving dialogue. I know some people here would rather have realism prevail, but I'd rather hear what these guys have to say. Bane telling his henchman to stay with the plane and the henchman's resolute acceptance of that fate should be a powerful moment, but you can barely hear a word either one of them says. In this instance, the grandness of the sound-work gets in the way of the film.
Um, the score actually drops out at that moment. It's only the airplane noise then. :funny:

And then the drums and chanting comes back in and it's :awesome:

Yeah I definitely couldn't hear the quick exchange between Bane and his henchman until he said "the fire rises."

Laggy McLaaaaaaag!

Little kid at the beginning singing the anthem is no doubt going to be Dick Grayson.

:ikyn

Oh I know. I just think the background noise could be toned down in that moment. Even just a notch.

A couple of little things I noticed in the trailer.

Tom Conti is the old guy who says the "It means rise" line to Bruce. The scene with Gordon, the Mayor, and the party/speech has a huge framed photo of Harvey Dent with flowers around the frame on the stage where Gordon and the Mayor are. It also looks like it's in front of Wayne Manor.

Could anyone please send me the links to the things I shouldn't be asking for...???

Thank you!! :awesome::awesome::awesome:

Polux

Polux, you're not allowed to ask or you'll get temporarily banned.

Did you like the trailer, Joker?

Every single bit of it. The movie looks stunning on an epic scale. There was a surprising lack of Batman in the trailer though.
