So is Indy's hat perma-brown, or is that just dirt & sweat? Sorry....

I'd say it WAS normal color, but when he wore it he just let the dust and dirt rot on it and it eventually turned perma-brown because of that. I mean it can't be just painted brown, otherwise indy's just some guy in a hat!

WRONG! Indy's hat is supposed to be perma-brown like it always was! They're not staying true to the source material GOSH! I bet in one scene he'll fall in water and his hat will turn into it's normal, darker-shade-of-brown instead of perma-brown! Ugh!

I love the Dark Knight poster, but the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull had me change my underwear.

I think it's cause he basically looks like he's waiting for a bus at a bus stop. Like he's half asleep and waiting to go to work.

I'm hoping that's indicative of the entire performance.

I like the LA Times picture because it creates this great dissonance between the J-man and the city. There's a contrast between his being dressed in dark colors and the light-colored city in the background. There's also a contrast between what the Joker is in this picture and what we expect the Joker to be in general. He does look like some Joe Schmoe waiting for the "WALK" signal, which is not how we ordinarily think of the Joker; that heightens the intrigue of this picture as well. In fact the only thing that really gives it away that he's even the Joker is the mask. We see the mask, then we see the bag, and then we realize that something big is going to go down. It's an excellent photograph.
