The biggest mystery is who took Matt out of the ground, and how did they leave that place after the elevator break, and from beneath all that rubble.

I'd like to see that happen.Help from Asgardians?
where on Earth was Spider-Man during the NYC Earthquake?
I'm actually kinda glad Danny didn't get a suit. Looking at loads of cosplay just proves that mask is REALLY hard to pull off in real life.
*sighs* Marvel should really release an official canon timeline like Star Wars.I know this is dangerous territory since the homecoming timeline fumble, but i think Daredevil S1 through Defenders all take place before Peter got his Spidey powers.
He would still be able to swing into other parts of New York.Queens.
It looks fine on DD in Season One. Just make a dirty yellow/brown as opposed to bright yellow and it;s fine.
I think maybe because it was built up to be more, like a huge event, and is more like just a good TV show. I really enjoyed it and will be rewatching it a fair few times but I don't think it's a must see for non CBM fans in the way that Game of Thrones is for many non-fantasy fans for eg.I'm actually kind of surprised to see this receive such a relatively tepid reception. I think this is easily one of the strongest Marvel/Netflix series yet up there with the first seasons of DD and JJ.

I have to ask, where on Earth was Spider-Man during the NYC Earthquake?

I think part of it is that it feels like "more of the same". I get this is a tv budget, but when Avengers finally came out, the stakes and visuals felt worth it.
Here, we have the Hand (again), and more ninja fights. How many times can we watch flipping and kicking and punching. It's certainly lost a certain level of novelty. I think the problem is that everyone has the same-y powers. Super-strength, punching, and kicking.
Seriously, I never want to watch another episode of the Hand again.

The problem that at no point has The Hand felt interesting or truly threatening. HYDRA did. But The Hand, for a global criminal organization made up of mystical death-defying ninjas, they feel really small and dull.
And their leaders were nothing. So that undercut the show a lot right away.
